Late Linkin Park Singer Chester Bennington Remembered On 46th Birthday

The late singer of Linkin Park, ChesterBennington, took his own life in 2017.

Bennington was born on March 20, 1976, in Phoenix, Arizona, and many are taking a moment to remember the singer of the nostalgic rock band on what should have been his 46th birthday.

One person who took the loss especially hard was his wife, Talinda, who remembered her late husband with a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram.

Bennington married the former Playboy model Talinda Ann Bentley in 2006. The couple shared three children: Tyler Lee Bennington (born March 16, 2006) and twins Lily and Lila (born November 9, 2011).

On Sunday, Talinda took to Instagram to reveal a snapshot of happier times. In the photo, the "In The End" singer is smiling and holding up a gift bag with the words "Happy Birthday" written across the front.

“Happy Birthday my love! We miss you so much,” she wrote in the caption. “The pain doesn't get any easier but you get used to it is what they say. I'm not sure I believe that at all. There's no getting used to this type of grief. I'm doing my best to raise our babies the way we always talked about. You were my other half and it is so hard walking without you. I love you and we are celebrating you today.”

Many fans expressed their support and condolences. Kevin Hines commented, “@talinda320 sending you thoughts and prayers and much love from the Hines family. I feel the same way, the pain does not get easier or go away, we can simply look to the living, those who still remain and try…just try to move forward. Chester was an incredible man and light in this ? but remember so are you. Wishing you healing however long it takes. Happy Birthday Chester.”

We all love and support you and are thankful for everything you’ve done with 320 and in honour of Chester. Thank you.”
