Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis Donate Over $30 MILLION Dollars To Ukraine!

Fans may not know that actress Mila Kunis was actually born in Ukraine.
The “Black Swan” actress and her husband, actor Ashton Kutcher, showed their solidarity by matching donations in the hopes to raise $30 million dollars for Ukrainian refugees.

On March 3, the Hollywood stars announced that they will match $3 million dollars in donations for Ukrainian refugees in an Instagram video they shared to social media.
“Link in bio,” they wrote in the caption. “While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org , two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most.”
“Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova,” they continued. “Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine. Standing with Ukraine means supporting Ukrainians. #StandWithUkraine”
Many fans were quick to recognize they needed to contribute and started to donate.

On March 5, the pair took to Instagram again to announce that they were halfway to their goal and had already raised $15 million dollars!
“UPDATE!! 15 million. We are halfway to our goal. Thank you for the support! #standwithukraine @airbnb @flexportTo donate link is in bio or below,” they wrote in the caption.
Scooter Braun commented, “🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌”
Reese Witherspoon wrote, “Thank you for this incredible work!”
Another fan wrote, “This makes my soul happy. Using your platform to make such an impact in human lives. 💙💛”
Fortunately, the donations did not stop there!
Ashton Kutcher And Mila Kunis Raise $20 Million Dollars For Ukraine In Less Than A Week!

On March 10, they created yet another visit to thank their fans for accumulating over $20 million dollars in less than a week!
“Thank you to everyone that got us to $20m in less than a week,” they wrote beside the video. “We can do this. We can hit our goal. Together. Because we stand together with Ukraine. #standwithukraine”
Fortunately, by March 17, they were able to reach their goal.

On Thursday, March 17, the couple revealed that they had reached their goal.
“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support,” they wrote in the caption. “2 weeks ago we asked you to join us and more than 65,000 of you stepped up and donated what you could. Now, with your help we have reached our $30 million goal.”
“While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done,” they continued. “We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need.”
“Funds have already and will continue to be delivered to Flexport.org and Airbnb.org so they can act now,” they concluded. “As funding continues to come in we will treat every dollar as if it were being donated from our pocket, with respect and honor for the work that went into earning it, the intent of love through which it was given, and the desire for it so be maximized for positive outcomes for others.”
As of this writing, the couple has brought in $34,466,400 dollars from 68.2K donations. Just because they have received their goal does not mean that the donations have to stop. They are hoping that more people will stand with Ukraine and donate through their GoFundMe to keep helping others.
As one supporter wrote in the comments of the fundraiser, “It's the free world's duty to help out the Ukrainian people.”
