The plight of the people in Ukraine has not escaped the notice of celebrities, who have taken to social media to express their support.

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Will Match Donations From Fans

Both "Deadpool" star actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife, "Gossip Girl" actress Blake Lively, are encouraging their fans to donate to the people of Ukraine.

On Instagram, Ryan Reynolds posted, “In 48 hours, countless Ukrainians were forced to flee their homes to neighbouring countries. They need protection. @usaforunhcr is providing it. When you donate, we’ll match it up to $1,000,000, creating DOUBLE the support. Click the link in bio.”

Lively also echoed her husband’s statement in her own Instagram post, writing, “@vancityreynolds and I are doubling every dollar donated to @usaforunhcr up to $1,000,000 💙⬆️💛 link in bio to donate.”

She added, “@usaforunhcr is on the ground helping the 50,000+ Ukrainians who had to flee their homes in less than 48 hours. @usaforunhcr is providing life saving aid, and also working with neighboring countries to ensure protection for these families.”

Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis Seek To Raise Over $30 Million Dollars For Ukraine

Both Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis both said that they will match $3 million dollars in donations for Ukrainian refugees in an Instagram video shared on Thursday.

“Link in bio,” they wrote in the caption. “While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org , two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most.”

“Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova,” they continued. “Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine. Standing with Ukraine means supporting Ukrainians. #StandWithUkraine”

Mila Kunis, Who Was Born In Ukraine, Thanks Fans For Their Support

As The Blast previously reported, the couple aimed to collect $30 million dollars to help the people of Ukraine. They started their campaign on March 4 and were more than halfway to their goal in less than a week. On Thursday, the couple revealed that they had reached their goal.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your support,” they wrote in the caption. “2 weeks ago we asked you to join us and more than 65,000 of you stepped up and donated what you could. Now, with your help we have reached our $30 million goal.”

“While this is far from a solution for the problem, our collective effort will provide a softer landing for so many people as they forge ahead into their future of uncertainty. Our work is not done,” they continued. “We will do everything we can to ensure that the outpouring of love that came as a part of this campaign finds maximum impact with those in need.”

“Funds have already and will continue to be delivered to Flexport.org and Airbnb.org so they can act now,” they concluded. “As funding continues to come in we will treat every dollar as if it were being donated from our pocket, with respect and honor for the work that went into earning it, the intent of love through which it was given, and the desire for it so be maximized for positive outcomes for others.”

Bethenney Frankel Provides Hygiene & Survival Kits For Refugees

Author and TV personality BethenneyFrankel has been helping Ukrainian refugees through her BStrong foundation.

On Instagram, she wrote, “B STRONG UKRAINE UPDATE: We are in motion to ship 100,000 hygiene kits, #Bstrong survival kits, blankets, generators, sleeping bags to Ukraine’s NATO boarding countries. This initial commitment of supplies will exceed $10M. Our teams will be on the ground in Rzeszów, Poland Friday to set up base camps for refugee operations with our Polish and Ukrainian partners. We’re also working with military professionals, former Green Berets, and airlifting shipping boxes today. Airways are closed and it’s taking 7 hours to exit Kiev.#thisisacrisis”

Angelina Jolie Provides Boots-On-The-Ground Support To Refugees

Marvel’s “Eternals” actress AngeliaJolie also posted a statement to her Instagram account.

She wrote, “Like many of you, I’m praying for the people in Ukraine. My focus along with my @refugees colleagues is that everything possible is done to ensure the protection and basic human rights of those displaced, and refugees in the region. We have already seen reports of casualties and people starting to flee their homes to seek safety. It is too soon to know what will happen, but the significance of this moment - for the people of Ukraine, and for the international rule of law - cannot be overstated.”

She later traveled to the region in order to provide boots-on-the-ground support.

“I’ve landed in Aden, to meet displaced families and refugees for UNHCR @refugees and show my support for the people of Yemen,” Jolie wrote in the caption of the video. “I will do my best to communicate from the ground as the days unfold.”

“As we continue to watch the horrors unfolding in Ukraine, and call for an immediate end to the conflict and humanitarian access, I’m here in Yemen to support people who also desperately need peace,” she continued.

“The situation here is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with one civilian killed or injured every hour in 2022,” she concluded. “An economy devastated by war, and over 20 million Yeminis depending on humanitarian assistance to survive.”

Lee Young-Ae & J.K. Rowling Provide Financial Support To Ukraine

South Korean actress Lee Young-ae made a ₩100million donation to Ukraine and was personally thanked by the Ukrainian ambassador-designate in Seoul, Dmytro Ponomarenko.

He shared a photo of her check to Twitter, tweeting, “We are very excited and touched by the letter and the great financial contribution of the famous Korean actress Lee Young-Ae in support of Ukraine and the demand to end the war as soon as possible! The donations will be transferred to the needs of victims of 🇷🇺 aggression.”

“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling also tweeted her support. “I will personally match donations to this appeal, up to £1m. Thank you so, so much to all who’ve already donated, you’re enabling @lumos to do crucial work for some of the most vulnerable children in Ukraine.
