The allegations against Joss Whedon have not stopped yet.

“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” actress Charisma Carpenter, “Justice League” actor Ray Fisher, and “Wonder Women” star Gal Gadot have all come forward to detail allegations of abuse and harassment at the hands of the “Buffy” creator.

A new book by Evan Ross Katz, titled, “Into Every Generation a Slayer Is Born: How ‘Buffy’ Staked Our Hearts,” gives new insights into Whedon’s behavior on set of the vampire romantic drama that aired from 1997 to 2003.

The New York Post highlighted specific passages from the book that highlight the perspectives of different crew members.

Actor Danny Strong, who played the role of Jonathan Levinson, noted that the accusations that have been levied against Whedon were “far beyond” what he had perceived on set.

Strong, now 47, said in the book, “Look, my experience on the set was a very positive experience, including my interactions with Joss. And so I wasn’t aware of how toxic the set was for some.”

“And it seems like who it was toxic for was the really attractive women,” he went on. “That was who he was creating really unpleasant working experiences for. And it’s not in your typical sexual-harasser way, even.”

“These stories, they’re sort of atypical in creating this petty, almost high-school-like environment in pitting the pretty girls all against each other. I’m sure there’s a lot of psychological depth about what that says about Joss,” Strong continued, adding that he didn’t think Whedon’s behavior would have changed if he had more experience in Hollywood.

‘Like This High School Nerd Who’s Angry That The Pretty Girls Didn’t Like Him’

Strong added that Whedon seemed to have the mentality of an unpopular “high school nerd” who is lashing out.

“I think that this mentality that we’re seeing in [Whedon] is kind of like this high school nerd who’s angry that the pretty girls didn’t like him and he gets older and he’s gonna lash out at the pretty girls or hook up with some of the pretty girls, and the pretty girls that don’t want to hook up with him he’s going to lash out at them in some way or turn other girls against them,” Strong noted.

Strong, who also co-wrote for “The Hunger Games” added that Whedon should have known better.

“I just want to say if you’re in your mid-thirties, f--- you. That’s not an excuse,” he added. “You should know better by then. You’re very rich. You’re very successful. Give me a f---ing break that you’re still talking about being the high school nerd that didn’t get the girls. It’s not an excuse to mistreat people.”

What Did Charisma Carpenter Say About Joss Whedon?

Last February, Charisma Carpenter, who played Cordelia Chase on “Buffy” and the spin-off series “Angel” accused Whedon of “toxic” and “hostile” towards her, especially after she became pregnant.

In a lengthy social media post, Carpenter spoke up to lend credibility to Ray Fisher, who accused Whedon of unprofessional behavior on the set of “Justice League.”

“Joss Whedon abused his power on numerous occasions while working on the sets of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel,” Carpenter wrote. “While he found his misconduct amusing, it only served to intensify my performance anxiety, disempower me, and alienate me from my peers. The disturbing incidents triggered a chronic physical condition from which I still suffer. It is with a beating, heavy heart that I say I coped in isolation and, at times, destructively.”

Actress Amber Benson, who played Tara, tweeted, “Buffy was a toxic environment and it starts at the top. There was a lot of damage done during that time and many of us are still processing it twenty plus years later.”
