Camila Cabello recently disclosed her new partnership for the “Women Of Worth” initiative.
As the L’Oréal Paris ambassador, she’s involved in the organization’s yearly philanthropic initiative, “Women Of Worth.” For the singer-songwriter, this made her want to do better.
“It’s just very inspiring to know that you don’t have to have some big platform or a lot of money or a lot of fame to make a positive impact on the world,” 25-year-old Cabello said of the initiative via People magazine. “These are women that are just seeing an injustice or something that they feel like could be done better in their community, in their corner of the world and in their immediate surroundings.”
She added, “I feel like that just reminds me and everybody that we can make positive change exactly where we’re at with what we have.”
The initiative is aimed at garnering over $20,000 to fund women for their charitable ambitions and work.
She also mentioned that it was an honor to be working with such an inspiring and empowering initiative.
“Every time I go to a Women of Worth event, I leave feeling so inspired, so empowered, and feeling like I need to do better and I need to be better,” she says. “I love what they stand for. I love how much they empower women, so I’m really proud to be working with them.”

The “Havana” singer celebrated her birthday on March 3, 2022. She disclosed the release date for her highly anticipated “Familia” album to mark the event.
“2 facts: it’s my birthday and this album is my whole f—ing heart. FAMILIA. Out April 8,” she posted on Instagram, alongside an image of herself donning a colorful, layered dress.
Immediately after, she posted a selfie picture on her Instagram story, adding, “One of my intentions today is to receive all this love From my friends and family and all of you who support me, love on me and cheer me on. Grateful for all of it and taking it in today.”
In an interview with Zane Lowe, she mentioned that she wanted the album to “manifest collective joy.”
“I want it to be that kind of family affair selfishly, because it would make me happy. It would make my life better and that’s what I want, so that’s really what I was trying to manifest with this whole album,” she concluded.
Camila Cabello Teased A ‘Familia’ Journal To Go With The Album
The songwriter also disclosed a “Familia” journal, which she mentioned would be part of the album.
On her Instagram, she shared a handwritten message for fans: “Thank you so much for listening to and supporting my album. This journal will give you a little BTS (in bad handwriting) of Familia.”
She added, “It’s a deluxe version of the album basically that comes with a journal. I’m excited for people to see that,” she says of the journal. “It was fun to go through every song and find cool little facts and tidbits that people don’t know yet.”
Cabello Dropped A New Single With Ed Sheeran
The pair recently released the music video for their collaboration “Bam Bam,”
“Now I’m out dancing with strangers/You could be casually dating/Damn it’s all changing so fast,” she sings.
The song is the second single off her upcoming album, “Familia.”
The duo had previously collaborated on Sheeran’s “South Of The Border,” which appeared on his album. The song also featured Cardi B.
Is The Single Referring To Ex Shawn Mendes?
Although no one knows who Cabello was singing about, the lyrics might give fans clues. The lyrics nod to the recent ex Shawn Mendes, whom she broke up with in November.
The track kicks off with “You said you hated the ocean/But you’re surfin’ now/I said I’d love you for life/But I just sold our house.”
Coincidentally, days after their split, Mendes shared a picture of himself surfing on the sea, despite his previous disclosure of his “weirdest fear” being a panic attack while swimming.
Cabello had previously teased the new single, “Bam Bam,” with a heartfelt caption which read, “We were kids at the start, I guess we’re grown-ups now.” She also posted an image of herself with black eye makeup, which was smudged under her eyelids.
