Lil Nas X Returns To Social Media: 'I Missed Me So Much'

Lil Nas X is gonna take his horse to the old town internet and ride until he can’t no more.

The “Montero” singer is back on the interwebs after taking a three-month hiatus.

The last time Lil Nas X was active on social media was December 2021.

Many of his fans were worried about the singer during his vacation from Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

The Blast previously reported on his fans concerns.

"Question… where’s Lil Nas X,” one fan asked.

One worried fan tweeted, “Is Lil Nas X okay? He aint been on social media since early December. I hope he’s just taking a break and enjoying his success.”

Another wrote, “Where tf is Lil Nas X?”

According to Billboard, the actual last time he was active was on December 17, but he deleted all of his tweets from the day.

Lil Nas X noted that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, reportedly saying that “COVID really sucks.”

He pulled out of the UK’s Capital FM Jingle Ball one week prior, although a statement from Capital FM at the time only said “members” of several acts’ teams, including his, had tested positive.

That announcement came the day after he appeared at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball 2021 on Dec. 10 in New York — in what may be his last public sighting.

On Wednesday, March 16, Lil Nas X RETURNED!

In his first tweet since December 6, he wrote, “Why are people surprised i’ve been away for so long? have y’all really never heard of maternity leave?”

Fans of the singer know that for his “Montero”-era he posed with a fake pregnant stomach.

He’s since wiped his Instagram clean of all traces of that era except for one photo.

Lil Nas X followed up that tweet with, “I’m so happy I’m back on the internet. I missed me so much.”

One fan celebrated his return writing, “Ever since lil nas x came back I have gotten a girlfriend, a stable job, healthy hobbies that I love to do every day, my family has re-accepted me to their live and I’ve been the happiest I’ve been in a long time. I could not have done it without you.”

He also teased two NEW songs, “Late to the party (ft. youngboy) and “down souf hoes (ft. saucy santana).”

Lil Nas X also posted photos of his random hairstyles he’s rocked over the last four months… away from the spotlight.

Lil Nas X fans are now waiting with bated breath to see what he will announce upon returning to social media.
