Lil Nas X has his fans up in arms, and not in a bad way.

They’re starting to freak out given it’s been nearly two months since they’ve heard from the “Montero” singer.

The last time Lil Nas X posted on Instagram and Twitter was on December 5, 2021.

He posted about the “Top 10 tweets that aged horribly” on Twitter, and posted a carousel of photos of him “bussin my a**.”

These posts mark the Grammy winner’s last interactions with fans, and they’ve taken to Twitter to ask, “Where’s Lil Nas X,” in hopes he’d respond.

“Question… where’s Lil Nas X,” on fan asked.

One worried fan tweeted, “Is Lil Nas X okay? He aint been on social media since early December. I hope he’s just taking a break and enjoying his success.”

Another wrote, “Where tf is Lil Nas X?”

“Remember when Lil Nas X used to tweet,” someone else pointed out. They also tweeted out on January 28, “BREAKING: Lil Nas X has returned to social media! He’s currently reposting TikToks with the “THATS WHAT I WANT” sound that’s going viral.”

According to Billboard, the actual last time he was active was on December 17, but he deleted all of his tweets from the day.

Lil Nas X noted that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, reportedly saying that “COVID really sucks.”

He pulled out of the UK’s Capital FM Jingle Ball one week prior, although a statement from Capital FM at the time only said “members” of several acts’ teams, including his, had tested positive.

That announcement came the day after he appeared at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball 2021 on Dec. 10 in New York — in what may be his last public sighting.

The New York Post reached out to the singer’s team for comment, but they were left on read.

This could just be a period of time to reinvent himself for a new year and a new era. He completely changed his sound and look between his “Old Town Road” era and his “Montero” era.

Lil Nas’ good friend, Billie Eilish recently debuted a completely new ‘do, which is not so subtle code for reinvention.

The Blast reported on Billie’s raven black locks which she debuted on Instagram earlier this week to announce “She’s Back.”

Eilish is only sporting black hair with an edgy cut with bangs, or should we say fringes, and is sporting a back mask to match her look. Right before the move to black, she sported chocolate brown locks so it seemed her transition from blonde to goth is now complete.

Eilish’s jet black hair, a full fringe, and that shaggy wolf cut remind her fans of her early days, the time she burst onto the music scene with black hair but acid green roots. Since then, Eilish has been experimenting with her looks.

Her transformation to a curly-haired blonde, on the cover of Vogue, came as a shock to many of her fans.

In an 2021 interview, Eilish told Elle she dyed her hair blonde because she was tired of acid green.

“I couldn’t go anywhere with that hair because it was so obviously me. I wanted anonymity,” she explained.

Going blonde meant her signature look was gone and Eilish felt free. She continued saying, “I went to a park with a friend, and I was like, ‘No, I can’t take off my hood!’ I was terrified of the paparazzi and these stalkers I’ve had. But my friend was like, ‘Don’t worry: You’re okay. Nothing’s gonna happen.’ And I took my hood off, and I felt like a new person.”

She also feels that just like everyone, her hair does not “define” her, it’s just her experimenting with different looks, wanting to do what she likes.
