On Wednesday morning, Kanye West made it clear he wants Pete Davidson to stay away from his kids.
He pointed to a headline that mentions “Skete” made an inappropriate joke about children back in 2019.
Kanye West Gives ‘Yet Another Reason Why SKETE Gotta Stay Away From My Children’
On Wednesday, the “Donda” rapper shared an article with the headline “Pete Davidson Enrages Audience With Joes About Having Sex With A Baby.” The headline links to a Breitbart article that was written on January 28, 2019.
During a stand-up comedy routine at The Bell House in Brooklyn, New York, the “Saturday Night Live” comedian recalled a story about babysitting his friend’s child, who was teething at the time. He said that the baby was sucking his finger in a “good way.”
The Montreal Gazette reported that he said, “I don’t want to f--- this baby but he’s asking for it” and allegedly later added that he’s “not into having sex with babies but if he was, he would choose that baby.”
Fans Back Kanye West: ‘Not Something To Be Joking About’
Regardless of what his intentions were when making the joke, Kanye listed it as “Yet another reason why SKETE gotta stay away from my children” in his Instagram caption on Wednesday morning.
“Oh and nobody noticed that he ain’t show up to SNL,” he added, referring to the face that Pete has been missing from “SNL” over the past few weeks. Reps for the actor say that “The King of Staten Island” has been away from the late-night comedy show filming his upcoming horror movie, “Home.”
“Because Mr. I can help you with meds had a mental breakdown after we ran him off the internet,” Kanye continued, referring to the series of text messages between him and Skete where he offered to “help” Ye with his mental health.
“SKETE you not built for this,” Kanye added. “I already blacked the Super Bowl out on you.”
He added, “Apologize to your family for being in your family.”
Brandon Chastang joined many fans in saying, “I wish there wasn’t kids involved.” Many fans have pointed out that it’s going to difficult for the four young kids that Ye shares with ex Kim Kardashian to deal with the drama as they grow up.
However, a lot of fans also Ye’s side, pointing out that Pete’s joke was extremely inappropriate. “Not something to be joking about,” one fan wrote. “So it’s okay for him to be around the kids and not Ye?”
Kanye West Is Worried ‘Skete’ Will Get Kim ‘Hooked On Drugs’
Ye took a screenshot of a comment from k3nsway_ saying, “The way Skete used Kim’s marital status too address Kanye was a sneak diss towards her & she didn’t even catch it.”
In the private text messages between Ye and Skete that were published by Pete’s friend, Kanye asks where he is. He replies, “In bed with your wife.” Kim has not commented on those private text messages publicly, but she did slam Ye for creating a “false” narrative surrounding custody of their children.
Earlier this week, Kanye posted a shot of three pins on a backpack: a Kim Kardashian, a green alien, and Ye himself. “This was on my daughters back pack when I was ‘allowed’ to see her last week,” he wrote in the caption. “This is why I go so hard for my family I am wired to protect my family at all cost As the priest of my home Don’t worry Northy God is still alive.”
Kim Kardashian commented on the post, asking him to “Please stop with this narrative.” She alleged that “you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school.”
“Yikes,” one user commented. “It’s hard watching a father’s mental health crumble so publicly and see the fallout for his family. It makes you really feel for all of those who don’t have a huge public following who are also living this.”
On Wednesday morning, Ye said that he was actually “really concerned” for Kim, alleging that Skete would get her “hooked on drugs.”
“Im really concerned that SKETE will get my kids mom hooked on drugs,” he wrote in the caption of the screenshot. “He’s in rehab every 2 months.”
The “SNL” star has been open with fans about his history with drug use. In 2017, he said he was sober for many years. In December 2019, he said that he was going back to rehab and confirmed to fans at a stand-up comedy routine in February that he went to the Sierra Tucson treatment center in Arizona.
