Gabby Petito’s legacy continues.
The 22-year-old would’ve turned 23 on March 19th.

Gabby Would've Been 23 On March 19th
Laundrie strangled Gabby to death while they were on a cross-country National Parks road trip tour. Her body was discovered in September 2021 in a Wyoming State Park.
Earlier this year, it was discovered that Laundrie wrote about killing Gabby in a notebook that was found near his lifeless body.
On Wednesday, October 20, NBC New York reported “items belonging to Brian Laundrie were found by his own parents on a trail he frequented at the Florida environmental park center to the national manhunt, the family's attorney confirmed.”
The items were found after a “brief search.”
Brian Admitted To Killing Gabby In His Notebook
The FBI revealed the disturbing evidence found in his notebook on Friday, January 21.
Brian admitted he killed his fiancée in a notebook entry he wrote shortly before he took his own life.
The murderer also sent text messages between his and Petito’s cellphone in the days after she was strangled to death.
This was his attempt “to deceive law enforcement by giving the impression Ms. Petito was still alive,” the Denver FBI said in its final investigative update.
The Denver FBI also revealed that Gabby’s parents met with the FBI at the Tampa Field Office on Thursday, January 20, given the investigation will be closed.

The Blast recently reported on Gabby’s parents suing Laundrie’s parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie.
According to reports, the aggrieved parents have filed a new lawsuit against Chris and Roberta for their indirect involvement in their daughter’s death.
Per TMZ, Gabby’s parents, Joseph Petito and Nicole Schmidt filed a lawsuit on march 11 at a Florida court suing the Laundries for knowing more about their daughter’s death than they let on.
Brian Laundrie's Parents Sued For Helping Him Flee Authorities
In the lawsuit, the Petito and Schmidt claim that Laundrie had confided in his parents that he killed Gabby, and they helped him flee the state before authorities could apprehend him.
They alleged that on August 28, the day after it was believed Gabby died, Laundrie immediately told his parents about the situation, and on that same day they hired a lawyer for him.
“It is believed and therefore averred that … Brian Laundrie advised his parents, Christopher Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie, that he had murdered Gabrielle Petito. On that same date, Christopher Laundrie and Roberta Laundrie spoke with Attorney Steve Bertolino, and sent him a retainer on Sept. 2, 2021,” the report stated.
Joe and Nicole also claim in the lawsuit that the Laundries kept information about their son’s whereabouts a secret, not cooperating with the authorities.
