Brian Laundrie’s death continues to unveil disturbing details.

The 23-year-old died due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the left side of his head.

The Florida Medical Examiner’s autopsy report shows he used a .38 caliber revolver to commit the act.

His remains were discovered in October in the Carlton Nature Reserve near his family’s home in Florida.

A former FBI agent found the report “bothersome” and provided a few theories as to why he shot himself in the left side of the head.

One possible answer could be that Laundrie is ambidextrous.

He could’ve used his left hand because he was holding something like a picture in his right hand.

Or most chilling, it was an assisted suicide.

Per the former FBI agent, “statistics would say a predominantly right-handed person does not commit suicide with their left hand.”
