Halle Berry Creates An Instagram 'Storm' Debuting New Short Hair

Halle Berry's new hairdo, which she debuted at the See Her Critics Choice awards, was enough to create a storm, at least on Instagram.

The last we saw of Halle Berry in short hair was when she played the mutant Storm on the "X-Men" franchise, and then again as Jinx, the Bond Girl with Pierce Brosnan in "Die Another Day".

Coincidentally, the movie's name kinda came true for Berry, as Brosnan saved her from certain death. But let's talk about the hair, and why Berry's fans are going a bit crazy over it.

Berry gave an indication of something new in the offing last week, when she posted a set of three pictures, with the caption: "toasting evaluation, next acts, and reinventions!"

She certainly looked peaceful enough, sitting in a grove with nature all around her, as a fan commented, "probably the best place to chillax, max and reflect and ground yourself in nature in Gaia and just become one with the earth :)"

Berry's latest movie, "Bruised" hit the top spot in 21 countries and was watched for a whopping47.7M hours in its first five days. In it, Academy Award winner Berry stars as Jackie Justice, a retired MMA fighter who reclaims her power, after everyone has counted her off. 

Clearly, she has something to celebrate about, and it seems she's doing it with a cool new haircut, sporting ash-blonde streaks to really set her stunning features off.

Instagram users seem to love Halle Berry's new hair as they soon began to pay her compliments, with one comment reading, "Storm? This moment is our #multiverseofmadness"

Berry gave her fans plenty of shots of her hair, as she took the quote right out of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator avatar, writing "glad to be back."

One fan paid her the ultimate compliment, writing, "HALLElujah!!!! I love it. Years ago when you had your pixie cut, I got my haircut like that and someone called me Halle Berry. One of the best compliments I ever had. I’ve always loved you with short hair."

Other Instagram users were also surprised to notice her hair, as they initially thought she was wearing a short hair wig as she did some time back, at the 2021 Oscars.

Berry got a little emo on Instagram as well. First, she dedicated her new hair to her fans, writing, "This is for all my beautiful fans that have wanted my short hair back! 💥 this is for YOU!"

It seems actress Julianne Moore was one of them, as she sent Berry the "nicely done"emojis.

Wrote one of her fans, "You’re beautiful with long or short hair …. But love it short ❤️" while another comment read, "here isn’t Halle Berry without the Halle Berry hair."

Berry also gave a shoutout to her man, Van Hunt, posing with him at the See Her awards.

Fans seemed smitten by the love the couple exuded as one wrote, "OMG totally feeling this every which way! HB looks amazing and fierce AF!🔥"

Selma Blair also wrote to Berry, "You deserve the best. Love him for this."

Fans gushed over the"power couple" and how good Van Hunt was for Berry.

But Berry has more tributes up her sleeve, this time, for her own flesh and blood.

Wrote the "Monster's Ball" actor, "14 years ago, I was blessed to give birth to an “Earth Angel” and I named her Nahla Ariela! Humbled by your presence and overjoyed at the same time!

Happy Birthday, Nahla boo! ❤️

Taraji P. Henson seemed a little boggled, as she wrote, "14?!?!😮😮😮😮 ALREADY!!!! I can’t. Happy birthday baby girl. ❤️❤️❤️"

Viola Davis wished Berry's daughter a belated birthday as fans poured in their wishes for the teen, and for her stunning mother.
