'RHOSLC' Jen Shah Selling 'Free Jen Shah' Merch Ahead Of Pending Trial

Let the tone deafer-y continue.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake CityJen Shah is being slammed for yet another bad move on her part. It is no secret that the controversial housewife is being investigated for conspiracy to commit wire fraud with telemarketing and conspiracy to commit money laundering. Now she is doubling down and attempting to sell merch to profit off the fame surrounding the charges.

Shah excitedly hopped on IG live to share with fans that she is hoping to profit off the backs of her victims by selling ‘Free Jen Shah’ merch. Now, she obviously didn’t spin it that way but fans of the show and anyone who is willing to can see exactly what the mom of two is up to.

In the video, she shared the first images of the merch that includes, T-shirts, hoodies, and a jacket. They all sport the logo “FreeJenShah” and “Not Guilty”. Some also feature the image of Shah leaving the courthouse with that infamous photo where she wore culture appropriating braids and a mask because ya, know COVID-19.

The jacket sports her popular phrase “Shah-mazing” embossed on the back and the hoodie sports the same saying in pride-grabbing colors just in time for the wildly popular celebration finally making a real comeback this summer.

The housewife is working with Rebel P Customs and the company is proudly promoting the merch on their Instagram page as well. They released a statement not only promoting the merch but standing alongside the reality stars claims of innocence.

“Two people from different backgrounds have become as close as sisters because of an injustice. I will stand by my friend Jen because I know her, I know her heart,” began the lengthy statement. It also went on to shed a really positive light on Shah.

She is nothing but kind, caring, and doesn’t ask for anything other than friendship. …I will always speak up for what I believe in, it doesn’t matter to me how popular or unpopular it makes me. I too have been the victim of a false accusation and everyone I thought I had in my corner vanished. I will stand next to Jen, no matter what. The fakers can exit stage left or right. We don’t need them.”

The innocent until proven guilty reality star was showered with support from her fans and co-stars. Well, one co-star in particular, Meredith Marks. The fellow fashionista left a heart emoji in the comments.

This speaks volumes seeing as the entire season she made it a point to repeatedly tell Shah that she was not a friend of hers and didn’t even know how to begin being a good friend to her because of all the drama in her own life. She also spent the better part of the season accusing Jen and the other women of “deflecting, projecting, and lying” so her support is rather shocking.

What might be even more shocking is the fact that after an embarrassing amounting of time scrolling though comments we are yet to see a comment of support from one half of “Bad Weather” Heather Gay, she is Shah’s ride or die even after Shah compared her to “Shrek” and essentially describes her as busted on a daily basis.

The reunion did take a toll on the fierce duo, in fact, the entire season did but it’s unlike Gay to not want to support her frenemy in everything that she does.

Now that we are over the initial shock of it all, let’s address the fact that Shah’s followers are having a time of it in the comment section split down the middle about the right and wrong of it all.

The #SHAHSQUAD is excited with comments ranging from “so excited for this,” and “ I need this”  and of course, rave reviews over the pride inclusion, to “That’s why she was so good at scamming! Just FYI SDNY does not play and she will find out as everyone else before have plead GUILTY Zane will testify against her including STU!”

Yes, you read that right some of Jen’s former staff and co-workers are allegedly set to testify against her though only time will tell because her trial hasn’t seen the light of day yet! In fact, it continues to get pushed back.

Shah was supposed to be in court earlier this month but that didn’t happen. From following the case, one might speculate that the powers that be are waiting for Stu’s trial on separate but related charges and what he has to say about Shah and proceed from there.
