Drew Barrymore Still Has Intimate Dreams About Her Exes 

Drew Barrymore, who has been married three times, was recently asked by Co-host, Ross Mathews if she ever had a dream about an ex that made her go "ooh."

This was after Barrymore said she has had nightmares about her exes. 

"I think that's the only place I'm getting action these days is in my dreams," the "Santa Clarita Diet" actress said. "Every six months I'll have the hottest dream and I'll be like, 'Oh my God.' And I'm like, 'Oh, I am libidinous and alive,'" Barrymore continued.

When Mathews asked her to expand on the word "libidinous," she replied, "like I have a libido, like I'm alive and I have a pulse." 

"Dreams, they're a safe space to work a lot of things out," the "Never Been Kissed" star concluded.

However, the actress didn't specify the ex she spoke about in this interview.

Barrymore is currently believed to be single, after ending things with her husband of four years, Wil Kopelman, in 2016. The pair have remained cordial as they co-parent their children, Frankie and Olive.

The actress was previously married to Jeremy Thomas from 1994 to 1995 and Tom Green through 2000 and 2001.

She also was romantically involved with some of her co-stars, including Sam Rockwell, Justin Long, and David Arquette. She and Luke Wilson were also in an open relationship.

"When we first met, we were young and wild," she spoke of Wilson during an episode of her talk show.

"I was dating him, but I think he was also dating other people. It was an open relationship; we were young," she admitted of their romance in the late '90s.

The star has been on a quiet journey to sobriety for over two years. 

"It was something I realized did not serve me and my life," Barrymore said during a CBS Mornings appearance on Thursday.

She also admitted to being very private about her mental health struggles, noting that there might be a perfection revolt soon. 

"We're in an impasse and a crux of a moment where talking about how we figure ourselves out, how we fix ourselves takes a journey and solutions. Most people do it in private."

She added, "I wouldn't be surprised if there is a revolt against perfection right now that we are all forced to see and feel through social media."

Barrymore admitted to seeking mental health care after her last divorce. 

"I wasn't doing very well, and I just wanted to go talk to some people and how to pull myself out of a hole, and I had these two kids that I had to fight for and I needed help," she confessed. 

"I started reaching out to different people and eventually, I really made some big, sweeping changes in my life, and I got on a whole new track — not back on track, but a brand new one that I helped build."

Barrymore and Kopelman split in 2016 after four years of being together. 

According to an inside source, they were too different. 

"They've had marriage issues for a while," says a source close to the family. "There was tension over where to live. Barrymore was increasingly drawn to L.A. and Kopelman preferred New York City."

"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," the pair advised in a joint statement to People. 

A year after, Barrymore divulged to Ellen DeGeneres that the divorce was her worst nightmare. According to her, it was worse than a regular breakup because "you're like, 'I'm the biggest failure. This is the biggest failure.'"

However, the actress has a stable home and career, so she's doesn't have to worry about taking care of her daughters, noting that, "Like divorce, things fell into place finally." The actress added, "It's amazing that my kids and I are happy. Because there's been a lot of times I really did question, will we be happy? And we are."
