'Love Is Blind' Natalie Lee Reveals It's Totally Over With Shayne Jansen

“Love Is Blind” season 2 contestant Natalie Lee recently sat down with another “Love Is Blind” alum to talk about her relationship with Shayne Jansen. The two connected in the pods but called it off at the altar after having a huge argument the night before the wedding.

Natalie Lee recently appeared on Lauren Speed-Hamilton’s new Netflix podcast, “We Have the Receipts” to talk about what went down after the reunion special. Fans remember Lauren as one of the contestants from “Love Is Blind” season 1, who developed a rock-solid relationship with her husband Cameron.

In episode 2, titled, “The Boss Ladies Special,” Natalie revealed that she and Shayne did date for a few months following the wedding, but it just wasn’t working out.

“We did date for several months after our wedding,” she said. We just wanted to give it another shot without the pressures of the wedding, and also, the cameras.”

When asked why it didn’t work out, Natalie said, “I think, for the most part, what happened on our wedding day and the day before the wedding day, that fight, I couldn’t move on from it. And I don’t think he could either.”

“Also, I think it comes down to we are very different people,” she continued. “With different needs and wants. And we also have some communication issues. We just couldn’t figure out a solution or resolution to that.”

When asked about her current relationship status, Natalie revealed that there is “nobody in my life. I’m one-hundred percent single.”

While she’s “open” to dating, she revealed that she’s “not actively dating.”

“I’m really just focusing on myself,” she explained. “And I think it’s so crazy with the show coming out. I’ve really been trying to take things day by day. But I’m single and ready to mingle.”

When it was suggested that she must have men sliding into her DMs left and right, Natalie indicated that it wasn’t quite the case. “No, all I’ve seen is messages from women being very supportive,” she said. “So no messages from other men, unfortunately.”

When asked if she’d be open to dating one of her season 2 castmates, Natalie said, “Honestly, I don’t. I think I’m good.”

“They’re all really nice men, but I think I’ve built friendships with most of them, and so I just don’t see it getting to that romantic level with any of them quite honestly,” she added.

That seems to put an end to the rumors that she is dating Salvador ‘Sal’ Perez, after fans noticed some flirty Instagram exchanges between them. Sal called it off with Mallory Zapata at the altar. During the reunion special, Sal didn’t go into detail about why the pair didn’t broke up.

“There were just things that happened that I don’t really feel comfortably saying cause it’s pointless now,” he said at the time.

Even though they had called it quits by this point, Natalie still took the time to pen a thoughtful message to Shayne before the reunion special aired.

“Thank you to everyone for your love and support as you’ve followed our love story these last few weeks!” she began. “I am so grateful for all of your supportive messages and comments ❤️”

“And to @shaynejansen – I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in this,” she continued. “We may have had our ups and downs, but you have always protected me and had my back. And thank you for loving me for ME, and always encouraging me to embrace and love my flaws.”

“When I told you I was self conscious about my deep stretch marks, you told me everyday after you loved them and they were beautiful,” she added. “Even if I did this experiment a thousand times knowing the outcome, I would have always chosen you.”

Fans have noticed that although Natalie has been posting a few flattering snaps on her Instagram page lately, Shayne has yet to comment on any of them.
