Demi Lovato seems to be doing some self-reflecting in their recent Instagram Stories.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer has been re-posting self-help videos which are both educational and funny.
Over the weekend, Demi re-posted a TikTok video about their teenage self crying over a boy they never even kissed.
The video was created by @cleopatra1 and used Demi’s song titled, “Here We Go Again.”
Cleopatra captioned the video, “That Demi Lovato be hitttttttttttin 😩.”

All great rules of thumb to live by, and Demi is living proof this works.
Since their near-fatal drug overdose in 2018, they have been focusing on their mental health and embarked on a meditation journey.
They have been very open and honest about their recovery process.
Back in July 2021, Demi revealed to “CBS Sunday Morning” that they were living a “California sober” lifestyle.
“California sober” means you drink and smoke pot, but refrain from doing hard drugs.
“I think the term that I best identify with is ‘California sober. I really don’t feel comfortable explaining the parameters of my recovery to people, because I don’t want anyone to look at my parameters of safety and think that’s what works for them, because it might not,” the singer told CBS.

However, by December of the same year, Demi admitted they had abandoned the “California sober” lifestyle.
They issued another statement on their Instagram, revealing that “I no longer support my ‘California sober’ ways. Sober sober is the only way to be.”
According to People, Demi made their announcement just one day after publicly mourning their late friend, Thomas Trussell III, who died of a drug overdose in 2019.
Earlier this year, The Blast reported on the singer’s rehab stay.
According to a Page Six report, the singer went to rehab for a brief period of time after giving up their “California sober” lifestyle.

A source close to Demi revealed they went to Utah for treatment. The source didn’t specify when the singer went back to treatment, but they are now back home and are “doing well.”
They suffered three strokes and one heart attack as a result of the overdose.
Demi revealed in their 2021 YouTube documentary, “Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil,” that the OD left them with some brain damage, and they still feel the effects of it.
