Schumer's name isn't far on the list when it comes to body positivity advocates as the stand-up personality has established herself as a confident woman in the entertainment business.

However, life's trials and tribulations slowly chipped the "Trainwreck" star's charismatic nature until she needed a little help from doctors to keep her spirits up.

In the past, the Comedy Central alum never imagined she would get liposuction, but once she did, the mother-of-one couldn't be happier with her decision.

During her conversation with Handler, "The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" author said, "I got liposuction. I never thought that I was going to do anything like that."

The Broadway actress added that the cosmetic procedure sounded like a "crazy" idea but undergoing a C-section and turning 40 was enough to change the entertainer's mind.

Schumer explained that she began considering liposuction after suffering from endometriosis and experiencing a difficult pregnancy plus the delivery of her son Gene.

Once the "I Feel Pretty" star healed from these painful ordeals, she immediately requested the cosmetic procedure, and the 40-year-old has no regrets.

"I just wanted to say that, because if anybody sees me in pictures or anything and they're like, she looks thinner, and whatever: it's because I had a surgery. It's too hard, and I just want to be real about it."

This heartwarming interview came two months after The Blast shared that the Primetime Emmy Award winner had flaunted her toned new body on Instagram.

On January 18, the "Snatched" star shared two pictures of herself on the beach in a black one-piece swimsuit designed with a revealing back.
