Britney Spears 'Showing Off Bod' Because She's A 'Rebel And Free Woman'

Just a couple of days back, Britney Spears broke the Internet, this time by going fully nude on what she calls "French Polynesia". Not only did she upload a set of risque pictures, covering the essentials with tiny diamond emojis, she also posted a few videos of her playing in the waves, in the buff.

Just a few hours ago, Spears posted a long spiel about Chanel's make-up and also what seems to be an explanation for her beach nudity, and Instagram is here for it. Here's what we know...

When Britney Spears took a vacation in Maui a couple of months back, it was to ring in, her 40th birthday. And she did so in style, wearing tiny little bikinis on the beach, showing off her great curves while ranting about paparazzi media taking bad shots of her.

This time, the vacation kickstart the birthday celebrations for her fiance, Sam Asghari, as Spears wrote in an Instagram post, showing off the rock on her finger as Asghari kissed her hand, "May the birthday celebrations begin for my wonderful fiancé … I love him so much!!! My hero … my mentor … my rock … my bliss … my love ❤️ !!! I hope you get everything and more for your birthday!"

Then, came a philosophical post where Spears held a tiny apple in her hand, as she mused, "God is in the little things ?… yet the devil is in the details ? !!! Hmmm … who do we think we are fooling ??? Cuz I’m like y’all … I had no idea … I DON’T KNOW."

After which, came a literal bombshell. Britney, playing a mermaid on the beach, in the nude, with emojis covering what Instagram does not allow, except to Kendall Jenner.

While fans were mostly speechless, relying on emojis, Paris Hilton seemed to love it, writing the comment "Sliving!", Many other fans were appreciative as well, one writing, "I look at this and just think FREEEEEEEDOM! I bet that water felt incredible."

More of her pics in the buff followed, with a set of pictures showing her topless, with her hands covering, or should we say holding, her breasts.

Obvious "titney" comments followed while one awed fan wrote, "I’ll always remember exactly where I was the day these iconic photos dropped."

In the next video that followed, Spears had now donned a yellow bikini bottom, still holding her arms to her chest, as one Instagram user appreciated the thought behind it all, writing, "I'm so glad you’re loving your authentic self you’re beautiful and killing it."

One commenter also wondered, "If Britney made an OnlyFans… oh the amount of money to be made."

Of course, the trolls were also out, wondering if Britney was okay, while some comments were downright nasty, reading "put some clothes on" and "hope her boys don't see her."

Another commenter also wrote, "You are a beautiful girl, and my heart sinks when I hear what you’ve been through with your family. My question is why do you feel the need to post provocative pictures. I’m sure it’s hard for your boys."

Spear's took to Instagram again, this time to put the trolls in their place. She wrote, "Alrightyyy then folks … showing my bod in French Polynesia ?? as a rebel and free WOMAN !!!!! I WILL DO BIG LETTERS CAUSE I THINK THAT MEANS IT’S IMPORTANT AND I DON’T WANT TO BE LEFT OUT …. SHOWING THINGS OF IMPORTANCE …"

But not before she put up yet another topless picture, this one getting her a comment, "This is how freedom and autonomy should look. I can’t imagine how it must feel. enjoy the sun on your skin. ❤️"

The post then turned into a long spiel about make-up, where Spear's also added, "I’ve always been a frugal buyer …. If it's absolutely amazing I will spend money on it but the way I was raised I’ve always been very conscious with what I spend. I just realized TODAY … TUESDAY, MARCH 1 … the only makeup I used to wear was @chanelofficial !!!!"

She continued her big letter post, announcing, "LAST NIGHT I BOUGHT MY MAKEUP AND I’M EXCITED BECAUSE IN THE PIC ABOVE I’M WEARING ONLY CHANEL MAKEUP!"

One Instagram user had to enquire, "New face of Chanel Beauty??"
