Christina Milian Celebrates Daughter Violet's 12th Birthday: 'You Are The Sweetest'

Christina Milian's eldest daughter turned 12!

The singer, 40, organized a Japanese-inspired birthday bash for her firstborn, Violet Madison Nash. Milian took to Instagram over the weekend and shared some pictures from the party.

The first photo showed a happy Violet, dressed in a matching tracksuit set and a black shirt, showing off her personalized cookies. In the next slide, Milian was spotted posing with her pals "WAGS" alum Nicole Williams English, Beignet Box CEO Elizabeth Morris, model Karrueche Tran, press agent J.Ryan La Cour, and Lauren Rodgers, a Partner at Level Up Entertainment.

The "Falling Inn Love" star was spotted posing with the birthday girl in the third snapshot, then English joined the mother-and-daughter duo in the following pic. Milian added an adorable image of her husband Matt Pokora, 36, born Matthieu Tota, and their little boy Kenna, 10 months. The actress also dropped a shot that showed Violet painting with her friends.

"Had the best time celebrating you @violetmadison!" Milian wrote in the caption.

"I know this bday party was everything wanted and everything you deserve. You are the sweetest, funniest, and most beautiful human inside and out," she continued, adding, "From the south, to the west coast and everywhere around the world your family is so happy to see you grow into the lovely young lady you are. Keep being YOU! We love you!"

Milian also credited the people who made the party a success.

In less than a day, the share earned over 55,000 likes. Fans also added 280-plus comments in the same time span.

On Saturday, Milian shared a sweet tribute to her daughter on the social media site.

"Violet!! Happy Birthday my beautiful girl," she wrote. "Forever you have been my partner, my ace, my best friend. Today you are 12 - I can’t believe it. ? this may be the last year you’ll let me kiss you in public (—you’re already acting brand new in front of your friends right now, lol) I hope today is a special day you’ll remember forever. You’re an awesome daughter and a great sister. We ALLLLL LOVE YOU so much. HBD Violet Madison!"

Milian shares Violet with ex The-Dream, born Terius Youngdell Nash, whom she was married to from 2009 to 2011. She then married Pokora in 2020 and bore him two sons, Isaiah, 2, and Kenna.

Earlier this month, Milian reflected on motherhood in an Instagram post,

"Family of 5 coming thru! ?" she began.

"Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I can’t believe it’s real. I’m really a mother of 3! (That happened fast, lol) It really is such a blessing. Watching our little people grow motivates me everyday— sometime to the point I’m overwhelmed as I wanna get so much done at once for them and for me," the singer continued.

"But I always remind myself that what I’m doing IS enough and God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. So to you parents out there balancing parenthood and being the best person you can be to yourself just know you’re not alone and a friendly reminder that YOU’VE GOT THIS!" she added.

Milian also opened up about her and her husband's decision to protect their children's identities.

"To those concerned with the emoji baby faces— Dad and I are doing our best to protect the boys and give them a chance to grow as normal little babies should," she explained.

"So I hope you understand. Believe me, I’d love to share their beautiful faces with you and we will one day. But the world can be full of chaos and we prefer not to add that on their plate until we feel comfortable with sharing. Hope you understand. It’s all love. Just two parents tryna do our best for them and their future," Milian added.
