All is well in Hollywood paradise as Ben Stiller & Christine Taylor are back together!
Nearly five years after the entertainment veteran and his estranged wife announced their separation in 2017, the lovebirds have finally decided to rekindle their marriage.
As reported by PEOPLE, the couple is once again an item as revealed in a candid interview with Esquire, published on Tuesday, February 22.
Ben Stiller Opens Up About Reuniting With Christine Taylor
Believe it or not but true love still exists in this world, and Stiller and Taylor's relationship is the perfect example of a long-lasting romance.
Surprisingly, the pair decided to give their marriage a second chance after the pandemic forced the "Night at the Museum" star to move in with his estranged wife.
During the early stages of the lockdown, the 56-year-old actor moved back into the family home to easily spend time with the couple's two children — daughter Ella and son Quinlin.
However, what started as a platonic relationship eventually bloomed into a romantic affair as the love hidden within the entertainers' hearts resurfaced. Stiller told the magazine:
"We were separated and got back together, and we're happy about that. It's been really wonderful for all of us. Unexpected, and one of the things that came out of the pandemic."
The "Zoolander" star explained that the dynamic duo grew their relationship in the last two years by respecting and accepting each other's similarities and differences. In his words:
"I think we have a respect for the ways that we're similar and the ways we're different. And I think accepting that you can really appreciate someone more because you're not trying to get them to change for you."
The Hollywood veteran continued that understanding what worked for him and his partner, plus sharing a profound trust in each other, helped them become a better couple.
In May 2017, the "Little Fockers" actor and his wife announced the end of their 18-year relationship with a heartbreaking joint statement that read"
"With tremendous love and respect for each other and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends."
True to their word, the pair continued to raise their children amicably without issues and even held hands in public while attending the 2018 "Pretty Woman" musical with their children.
In 2019, the lovebirds took their PDA to the next level as The Blast shared that the "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" co-stars attended the Emmys together.
The Hollywood stars were every shade of cute as they walked down the red carpet, leaving behind several bewildered onlookers.
"The Brady Bunch Movie" actress looked breathtaking in a blue dress while her date kept it simple with a dashing tuxedo.
At the time, this event marked a remarkable milestone in the lovebirds' relationship as it was the first major public outing the pair attended as an item since their separation.
Perhaps this was a sign that Stiller and Taylor were on the road to reconciliation as the couple's smiles on the Emmy red carpet were too beautiful to be only for the paparazzi.

As shared by US Magazine, the "Friendsgiving" co-stars tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at the oceanside in Kauai, Hawaii, on May 13, 2000.
The following year, Taylor was cast as Stiller's love interest in the famous male model comedic film "Zoolander," but this achievement was nothing compared to what came in 2002.
On April 9, 2002, the entertainment moguls were blessed with their first child and daughter, Ella, who eventually joined her iconic parents in the movie industry.
The aspiring actress landed roles in three of her father's popular projects, namely, "Megamind," "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," and "Escape at Dannemora."
Stiller and Taylor welcomed their second child and son Quinn on July 10, 2005. Naturally, the boy also inherited his family's acting skills as he starred in some of his father's movies.
Quinn's acting credits included roles in "Megamind," "Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb," and a voice role in the animation "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa."
