Lala Kent 'Worries' When It Comes To Telling Daughter About Randall Emmett

Lala Kent is already planning for the day her daughter, Ocean, asks about why her mommy and daddy aren’t together.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star knows there will come a time when she has to reopen the wound that Randall Emmett caused her.

In October 2021 Kent and Emmett broke up after rumors followed by evidence of him cheating surfaced.

After learning about his infidelity in Nashville, TN, the reality TV star became privy to a treasure trove of secrets, lies and affairs.

Kent has moved on from Emmett as a single woman, and is leading a new life with her daughter, who will turn one-year-old in March.

Taking to her Instagram story on Tuesday, February 22, the TV star explained that she plans to “have an open conversation” one day with Ocean about why she and Randall aren’t together.

This candid moment came after a blind item question came into Instagram gossip account @Deuxmoi.

The user asked, “Does Lala worry when Ocean grows up she will hear the negative stories about dad?”

Lala responded, “I worry about a lot of things. But I will explain to my daughter, if she has a lot of questions and the time is appropriate, what happened.”

She further explained that she plans to teach Ocean about “the importance of being a good person.”

“I will send her into the world feeling strong, safe and loved,” the Bravolebrity added. “She will be unbreakable. The world isn’t ready for the force my daughter will become.”

Kent had her fair share of heartache and hurt following the breakup.

In December, The Blast reported on Lala’s admission of being ‘traumatized’ by the cheating scandals.

On December 6, 2021, the new mom posted a photo from Instagram account @sold_my_soul_to_a_narcissist.

The post read: “Narcissists live a double life. They show fake charm and friendliness in public but are snake-like, venomous, and devious behind closed doors. They are master manipulators who destroy lives.”

It continued, “Most importantly, they don’t have an identity and that explains everything. They morph into a reflection of you to receive fuel, meaning they do not really exist as true personalities like we do, so if someone has no identity, how can that person be trusted to begin with?”

The definition of a narcissist definitely aligns with who Emmett was exposed to be.

Kent has addressed the cheating scandal on her podcast, and moved out of the Bel Air mansion they shared. She also updated her “Rand” tattoo to now read “bRand New.”

“I obviously want to acknowledge that I’m sure everyone knows what is going on between Randall and myself and just in my personal life. There will be a time I feel comfortable enough to open up and share. Today is definitely not that day. It’s been a lot. I’m going through a lot, and I just at this point in time want to protect my child. She’s my number one priority,” Kent said on her November 3, 2021, podcast.
