Wendy Williams' daytime show is temporarily ending due to her current health issues. Last year, she suffered severe difficulties resulting from Graves' disease and thyroid disorder.

It has been announced that Sherri Shepherd will be the guest host of "The Wendy Williams Show" throughout this week, and she confirmed the launch of her own FOX show in the fall.

On Tuesday, Williams' rep Howard Bragman issued a statement on behalf of the renowned TV show host. However, she reportedly took to her Instagram story to state her mind, which showed her show's matter was not entirely settled.

Williams was not too thrilled with Bragman's issued statement on her behalf regarding her position on the show's conclusion. She then took to her Instagram story and wrote:

"Mr Bragman although I appreciate your concerns and respect you immensely I have not authorized you to make any statements on my behalf regarding my current status with Debmar Mercury."

Debmar-Mercury is the media company that launched "The Wendy Williams Show" in 2008. The TV personality concluded the message with her appreciation for Bragman's support and persistent concern for her well-being.

Williams' rep told PEOPLE regarding his client's message that he was not convinced about the post's source. He further said he and Williams would discuss to determine the best way forward.

It seems the actress recently grasped why those decisions were made regarding her talk show as she dealt with her health issues.

The statement Bragman released on Tuesday detailed Williams' gratitude for those who supported her through the challenging period, including Debmar-Mercury and Shepherd.

He further stated, "She more than anyone, understands the reality of syndicated television—you can't go to the marketplace and sell a show that's the 'Maybe Wendy Show.'"

It seems Debmar-Mercury has assured the show host that whenever she fully recovers and still shows interest in hosting on TV again, she would return to her hosting duties with full force.

Shepherd, who will be taking over the show, announced her upcoming project, which will take over the time frame of Williams' show for thirteen seasons.

The co-presidents of Debmar-Mercury, Mort Marcus, and Ira Bernstein shed light on the replacement of the 57-year-old with the talented comedian.

It was a sentimental moment for the partners at FOX, but they had to make the transition due to Williams' unavailability and in the best interest of the show's fans.

The media company loved the star and hoped to work with her again in the future. They finalized their speech with positive wishes for her health.

The Multi-Talented Icon's Show Will Be Renamed "SHERRI"

"The Wendy Williams Show" will be changed to "SHERRI" in the coming fall, and Shepherd will host it.

The Blast had previously reported that the show's producers emphasized the guest host's success as a co-host on one of their other shows, "Dish Nation," and her guest-hosting of Williams' show.

Several of the show's staff are assertive about the transition as they moved on to the new show, including the executive producer, David Perler, who would remain the showrunner.

Williams' show will remain in production throughout the remaining season, and it will feature much-loved guest hosts, including Shepherd, who is top-rated as a guest host of the season.

A public statement about the media company's success with the American personality read:

“Debmar-Mercury launched Wendy with a successful limited test run on FOX Television Stations in summer 2008, which propelled the successful talker into its longtime national syndication run beginning in fall 2009.”

Although the company's co-presidents were not too happy about Williams' situation, they were pretty impressed with Shepherd's hosting skills since her position as a panelist on "The View" and co-hosting "Dish Nation."

The soon-to-be host has also proven to be talented with her creativity and funny approach to the show's daily 'Hot Topic' section.

Marcus and Bernstein further stated regarding their relationship with Shepherd, "Her love for the content and daytime fans is obvious, and we are excited to partner with her to create another long-term franchise."

Shepherd was delighted about her dream as a talk show host for her own show coming true. She highly anticipated her return to New York to host the show and talk about things she loves.
