Artem Chigvintsev is back to feeling like himself and wasting no time in returning to his first love — "Dancing with the Stars."
The pro dancer has been away from the ongoing "The DWTS: Live! Tour" for the past month due to health problems, but he is back!
Artem Chigvintsev Exited' DWTS' Tour For Health Issues
As The Blast reported back then, Chigvintsev shocked fans when he announced that he wouldn't be going on with the "DWTS" tour due to unpredicted health concerns.
The heartbroken dancer took to Instagram to break the news in a heartwarming statement that read:
Hi DWTS family - My time on tour has been wonderful - unfortunately I am having to step away due to some unexpected health issues. My goal is to recover as quickly as possible so I can rejoin my cast and crew on this incredible tour.
Chigvintsev concluded, appreciating his fans for their "patience and understanding" before signing off. The post was met with well-wishes from fans and friends.
Days later, the choreographer gave fans a better update about his health condition, revealing that he came back positive for pneumonia after a few tests and x-rays.
Chigvintsev shared that doctors put him on another set of antibiotics to kick out the pneumonia from his lungs. He expressed hope that the second batch would do the magic and get him back on track.
The 'DWTS' Season 29 Winner Is Back On The Road
Chigvintsev's wishes came through, and it seems the second batch worked wonders. In an exclusive report by People Magazine, the 39-year-old has fully recovered from pneumonia and is returning to the 'DWTS' tour alongside the rest of his crew.

As you might know, Chigvintsev will be rejoining his season 29 co-winner Kaitlyn Bristowe on tour alongside season 30 champion Iman Shumpert.
Amanda Kloots and Jimmie Allen from season 30 are also on tour alongside many 'DWTS' pros like Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko, Alan Bersten, and Daniella Karagach.
Before People's report, Chigvintsev's fiancée Nikki Bella had hinted that he would be making his return to dancing soon.
In an interview, the former WWE wrestler shared that her fiancé scans came back negative. "His scans came back and he's cleared. His lungs are officially cleared. We're so happy because his last scan they weren't seeing a lot of hope."
Bella explained that during the last scan, the doctors were thinking of putting Chigvintsev on an inhaler for the rest of his life as his condition wasn't improving.
The "America's Got Talent: Extreme" judge had previously mentioned that her partner experienced swelling in his lungs and had a persistent cough. However, all that is over, and his health is back to 100 percent.
Chigvintsev's Health Issues Delayed Wedding Plans
The dancer's health battle not only affected his presence on tour but also slowed down his wedding plans with Bella.
As you might know, the lovebirds, who are also parents to don Matteo Artemovich, 1, got engaged in November 2019 and have been looking forward to walking down the aisle.
However, with the COVID-19 pandemic and other complications, they haven't been able to say their vows. During the interview, Bella touched on the subject, saying that they have their eyes set on Paris for the wedding ceremony.
She explained that Paris would be the easiest city for her fiancé's parents and suited for her dream wedding. However, as for the set date for the nuptials, Bella remains unsure.
She noted that while she would love to walk down the aisle within the next few months, that would be impossible. "There's just a lot of complications right now," she lamented.
The "Total Bellas" alum is, however, sure she would have a big ceremony. "I always go big. The people attending might be small but it will still be big," she declared.
The 38-year-old is also certain about welcoming a second child with her fiancé. Bella revealed that she would like to have another baby either before 40 or at 40 as long as she and Chigvintsev are ready.
