Moseley was best known for playing Michonne's (Danai Gurira) pet walkers, Mike, in episodes of the zombie drama "Walking Dead." The other zombie was played by Theshay West who wrote a eulogy on Instagram, saying, "My heart is broken over this. But heaven has gained an angel. [Moseley] was my best friend, soul brother, and co-star. We traveled the world, met, smiled for many fans together, and shared an amazing era of greatness. I’m sending you love and light and will honor your memory. Taken too soon. Rest in love. To the fans thank you for your good wishes…this one has hit hard. I will stay visible and hold on to hope. Other than being on "The Walking Dead", Moseley also starred in the movie, “Attack of the Southern Fried Zombies” and was involved in other projects like "Joyful Noise", "The Internship", and "Queen of the South."

His social media showed him to have a rather positive outlook, but earlier in January, after he did not return home, his family reported him missing to the authorities. They also contacted OnStar, and the company helped them track the car to the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, GA, in an area where it covered the freeway. On January 26, Moseley's body was discovered inside the car, with a bullet wound to his head and a gun sitting in his lap.

Moseley's sister, Teerea Kimbo never believed it to be a suicide in the first place. She believed that his career was looking up and that he was excited about it all, so ending his life did not make sense. She also said that he had been booked for a taping a couple of days before his body was found, and he did not show up for that, something she did not believe he would voluntarily do.

According to her, he was very happy about how his career was shaping up and was ready for some big things in the future. Moseley's family believed that he was kidnapped and murdered, although they did not share the reasoning behind the same.

For now, the authorities are not choosing one over the other, when it comes to foul play or accident. What they say is that the case is still currently open/active and all possibilities and leads are being thoroughly investigated.According to media reports, family members say that the investigations show that the blood spatter does not necessarily align with suicide.

Other factors including the trajectory of the bullet as well as the way he was holding the gun are also under investigation. The bullet entered a point below Moseley's eyes and remained lodged in his skull, which is contrary to a usual suicidal shooting where the bullet exits the other side considering the close range of the shot.Plus, most people who killed themselves with guns, put the gun to their temple, not below their eyes.Moseley's death remains an open investigation as his friends and family grieve over an untimely death. His last post on Instagram remained a positive one and fans and friends have taken to airing their grief in the comments on it.Fans wrote, "How sad it is to read what he wrote here! 2022 was going to be his best year... not last. RIP from a TWD fan."
