LAPD Confirms Death Of Lindsey Pearlman
In a statement, LAPD confirmed the death of 43-year-old Pearlman, issuing a statement that read, “Today around 8:30 a.m., Hollywood Area officers responded to a radio call for a death investigation at Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue. The L.A. County Coroner's Office has since confirmed the individual to be Lindsey Erin Pearlman."
No other details have been provided, and the cause of death will be confirmed later, by the coroner.
Pearlman was last spotted on February 13, 2022, at noon, in the 1600 block of North Mariposa Avenue, as per the LAPD statement.
Meanwhile, her husband, theatre director Vance Smith had also posted a few updates. Earlier yesterday, he posted, “This is a total longshot, but someone who saw the flyer reported meeting a person they thought might have been Lindsey at the Heceta Head Lighthouse Beach Scenic Viewpoint near Florence, OR. These pictures are super blurry because she was just in the background. The person they met was "really interested" in their dog, which does sound like Lindsey. Do I know anyone in that area or Portland? Just a shot in the dark, but we'll take whatever we can get right now.”
Accompanying his post were some blurry pictures of a woman who did look a little like Pearlman, but things took a turn for the worse later.

Pearlman’s Husband Is “Broken”
In the wee hours of the morning, Smith took to Instagram to air his loss, writing, “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken. I will share more later, but I wanted to thank you to everyone for their love and efforts and ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time.”
Tributes started to pour in, as one Instagram user wrote, “No! I don’t even have words. I am so sorry. For you, for Meghan, for her family. This is too shocking. The world is so much less bright without Lindsey. What a beautiful person. Glad I was able to know her.”
Elain Hendrix also tweeted her sorrow, writing, “Thank you to everyone who shared Lindsey’s missing person report. I’m deeply saddened & stunned to share that she was found deceased. There’s no further info to share at this time. Pls, send her friends & family love. 💔”
One of her cousins also tweeted her grief, “UPDATE: I'm deeply saddened to report that they have found Lindsey, and it was too late. I have no other information about the location or circumstance. Lindsey was a fierce animal advocate and a talented actress. Please consider a donation to @SanteDOr in her honor.”
RIP Lindsey Pearlman.
