Maralee Nichols Celebrated Valentine's Day With 'Lover Boy' Amid Tristan Thompson Troubles

Maralee Nichols is a single parent and making sure the internet knows she is thriving.

The mother of Tristan Thompson’s third child welcomed a baby boy in December after a bitter paternity lawsuit against the NBA player.

The personal trainer and Thompson got together last March during his birthday celebration and conceived their son.

He was still with Khloe Kardashian at the time, and denied being the father prior to taking a paternity test.

Upon finding out the results came back positive; Thompson took to Instagram to apologize to his family, friends and Khloe.

He wrote, “Today, paternity test results revealed that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. I take full responsibility for my actions.  Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”

Well, his promise to “amicably raise” their son has not been upheld according to Nichols.

In an exclusive report from Page Six, the basketball player “has done nothing” to support their two-month-old son according to Nichols’ rep.

In a statement issued on Monday, February 14, her rep, Harvey Englander said, “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”

The astonishing news, or not so astonishing news, comes after a report claimed Thompson could be paying up to $40,000.00 in child support to each of his baby mommas: Khloe, Nichols and Jordan Craig.

The same day Nichols’ rep issued the statement about Thompson’s lack of effort, she took to Instagram to post new photos of her baby, whose name has yet to be released.

Nichols spent Valentine’s Day with her son and showed off his adorable V-Day inspired onesies.

In one photo, the child is laid across her chest in a red onesie. She added a sticker to her Instagram Story which read, “Baby Snuggles.”

In another Story, Nichols uploaded a video of her little one cooing in a onesie that read, “Lover Boy.”

She captioned the adorable photo, “My sweet boy ❤️.”

Nichols has not yet shown her baby’s face or released his name. She’s only posted a handful of photos with his face turned away from the camera.

In the wake of the paternity scandal, Thompson has gone back to his old ways.

In January, he was spotted with a Kim Kardashian look-alike at a bar in Wisconsin.

TikTok user @triciacaracoza uploaded footage of the athlete ballin’ out at the bar with this mystery woman.

In the videos posted, the woman can be seen sitting on Tristan’s lap and talking close to his face. Some would say they were flirting.

One video was captioned, “Saw it with my own two eyes. Zero respect for this trash.”

The other video was a “story time” style video.

Tricia recounted seeing the flirtation go down in person.

“Take a wild guess at who that is right there with the girl sitting on his lap in his ear. Hmm, Tristan Thompson. Yup! So, Saturday he played against the Milwaukee Bucks and afterwards decided to hit up the club in Milwaukee that I so happened to be at,” she said. “He walks in. He sits down directly next to me and within a few minutes I ended up recording my best friend dancing in front of me, he saw the flashlight come on and he snatched my phone right out of my hand.”

She went on to say she’s never seen someone delete a video as fast as Tristan did.

“Why was he worried that I was recording him? Because he brought a whole female to the club with him. My husband caught on to what was going on, saw Tristan Thompson with my phone in his hand and snatched it back out of his hand. Tristan proceeds to stand up, look at my husband and says, ‘No videos, please. I’ll take a picture with you if you’re a fan, but no videos,” she continued.

Tricia goes on to say that he is a “dog” and accused him of messing with “Kim K wannabe girls in Milwaukee.”
