It is an era of male celebrities wanting their ex-wives back from Kanye West to Nick Cannon and now Lamar Odom.
The basketballer was formerly married to Khloé Kardashian, and fans witnessed their 7-year marriage spiral down publicly due to Odom's substance addiction.
It's been more than five years since the former couple went their separate ways, but Odom still seemingly has a lot of love for Khloé. In recent times, the former Lakers player has been speaking about wanting his ex-wife back amid her umpteenth split from Tristan Thompson.
Lamar Odom Regrets Not Treating Khloé Kardashian Right
On Monday Night's episode of "Celebrity Big Brother," Odom reflected on his failed marriage to the "Revenge Body" host, calling her his beautiful wife. However, the NBA champion admitted that he wasn't his best self during their public union.
When I married Khloé, there were just so many things I did wrong when it came to our relationship that if I could take back I would take it back.
The former athlete stared somberly at the camera in the viral confessional, saying it was never his intention to hurt Khloé as he wasn't in the right place mentally and wasn't taking care of himself.
The clip then shows Odom discussing his former marriage with his "Big Brother" castmates, Cynthia Bailey, Carson Kressley, and Shanna Moakler, as they all sat in the kitchen.
The 42-year-old recalled to Bailey that it was an instant connection with Khloé when they set eyes on one another. "We were together every day until we got married," he shared.
When Bailey asked why their courtship only lasted 30 days, Odom answered, saying, "it just happened." He mentioned that they decided to walk down the aisle spontaneously, and momager Kris Jenner brought their wish to life.
Touched by their love story, the "RHOA" star said to Odom, "when you talk about her, she sounds like she was the love of your life," to which the athlete nodded in agreement.

After a moment of silence, Odom shared that since his marriage ended with Khloé, he has never thought of walking down the aisle again. However, when asked by Bailey if ending things with Khloé was one of his biggest regrets, the South Jamaica native said, "yes, it is."
"I didn't treat that good woman right," lamented the two-time NBA champion. But, despite his regret, Odom isn't giving up yet on a possible reconnection between him and Khloé.
He listened to bailey's advice to reconnect with the "KUWTK" star when he leaves the "Celebrity Big Brother" house.
I would just probably want to take her to dinner, and it would be a blessing just to be in her presence.
Odom shared that if given a chance to take Khloé to dinner, he would apologize for who he was and everything he put her through.
Although he admitted that Khloé has the right to never speak to him, he assured that he has since become a changed man. Odom said he is now a more loyal man and if given the opportunity to rekindle their love, he knows the right things to do.
He concluded his confessional, expressing his immense love for Khloé, "just saying her name kinda brightens up my day...all I could do is wish the best for her."
The NBA Player Didn't Grieve His Late Son Properly
Since joining the cast of "Celebrity Big Brother" 2022, Odom has given fans a glimpse into his life like never before. As The Blast reported, on the February 8 episode of the reality show, the former player talked about his late son Jayden.

The "Khloe & Lamar" alum confided in housemates Bailey and Todd Bridges about feeling despair following a dream about the late infant who died in 2006. Odom said the little one sent him a cryptic message in the dream that stayed with him.
"He kept saying, 'Snatch the rainbow, Daddy.' When he passed away, he couldn't talk. He could just talk with his eyes," Odom shared.
He credited the dream to unsolved baggage from Jayden's sudden demise, saying he "didn't get to grieve properly" when Jayden died. The infant passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) at six months.
Nevertheless, Odom refused to see the mysterious dream as something negative. "Him coming to me in a dream lets me know that he's not too far away. And I know I'll see him in an afterlife," the "Dancing With The Stars" alum shared.
