Although Nick Cannon thought Kevin Hart's latest prank on him was hilarious, the mothers of his kids didn't feel the same way. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the "Wild 'N Out" star said that the condom vending machine given to him by Hart didn't go down well with the mothers of his children.

"I still think me wrapping Hart's face on my private plane is better than his sending me a vending machine full of condoms," he said. "Vending machine full of condoms is a much bigger hassle to get out of a dressing room and takes up all the space."

He also went on to talk about the trouble it caused him. "And one thing that was brilliant about it, it was the mystery of it, because I had up some baby mama drama. 'Who sent you that? Who sent you that?'" Cannon said. "So, I did have to do some real life stuff, and then when he came out and said it was him, everybody relaxed."

In the same interview with ET, Hart disclosed the rationale for his gift." It's about complicating a person's day: How do I make your day difficult? That's a beautiful prank."

Backstory

Initially, Cannon seemed unaware of who sent him the vending machine when he first posted it on Instagram.

"Looks like somebody just sent me an early Valentine's Day gift!! Vending Machine full of Magnums," he captioned the image of himself pointing at the device, which came complete with a red ribbon on top.

Hart later confessed to the prank in an Instagram post featuring the same image Canon shared earlier.

"I see u got my gift @nickcannon ….GOTCHA BITCH! Now u don't have an excuse because the condoms are free #PrankWars," the actor and comedian wrote alongside the image, adding a laughing emoji.

Cannon replied, "This is not a laughing matter, Kevin!" He also added a "f**k you" emoji.

Cannon Recently Opted For Celibacy

The actor and talk show host recently appeared on "The Drink Champs" podcast. He shared his career and personal life on the podcast, adding that he'll be sticking to celibacy in the new year.

I'm trying to chill out, though. I'm chilling out. I'm kinda stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on," he said. "I have enough children, enough frolicking. I'm good right now. I'm trying. I didn't say I'm perfect." He also added, "I love all my kids."

He mentioned that it was not an impulsive suggestion, that it was his therapist who advised him on it.

"I'm not sitting out here planning it. My therapist says I should be celibate," Cannon said. He also jokingly added, "Okay, give me a broken bus. I'm [gonna] take a break from having kids."

Cannon continued, "I come from a big family, I have several siblings, and being raised in an unorthodox family by my grandparents at times, I've experienced such a wide range of upbringing that I have such a love and passion for kids and family. I want a big family too. The Lord has blessed me with what I asked. Ask and you shall receive."

He also mentioned that he had been having the kids on purpose. "I don't have no accident. Trust me, there's a lot of people that I could've gotten pregnant that I didn't. The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant."

His Youngest Son Died Of Cancer

The talk show host announced that his five-year-old son had recently died of cancer. He shares the child, who was born in early 2021, with Alyssa Scott.

"He had this real interesting breathing and by the time he was two months old I noticed. He also had this nice sized head, I called it a Cannon head. We didn't think anything of it, he had a normal Cannon head. But I wanted to take him to the doctor to get the breathing and the sinus thing checked out," he said. "We thought it would be a routine process."

I haven't even shared this with anybody, not even the crew," Cannon added. "We had a short time with a true angel. My heart is shattered. I wish I could have done more, spent more time with him, taken more pictures. I wish I could have hugged him longer," Cannon said, adding: "He was the most loving baby. I look at being his father as a great privilege."
