Bob Saget's Official Cause Of Death Questioned, 'I Just Don't Believe It'

Bob Saget's official cause of death is blunt head trauma and authorities say it was an accident, but many fans just don't believe it.

The Orange County Medical Examiner's Office in Florida released their finding after a thorough autopsy on the comedian. The conclusions, written by the office, say, "It is my opinion that the death of Mr. Saget was the result of blunt head trauma. His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall."

Plus, the coroner's office says "a toxicology analysis did not reveal any illicit drugs or toxins." Adding, "the manner of death is an accident."

As we reported, many believed Bob might have suffered a heart attack or stroke on that tragic night, due to the fact that he was lying in bed with one arm over his chest.

As you can imagine, the mysterious "unwitnessed fall" is being questioned by many fans on social media -- who are calling for further investigation into possible foul play.

"How do they know it wasn't foul play," one person tweeted. Another added, "Sounds so weird...if I hit my head that hard, I'm not going back to bed right away. I hit my head on my headboard a lot ..but never hard enough for brain bleeding!"

Several individuals brought up the fact that nothing was found in the room suggesting an accidental fall inside the room. "He would have put ice on it or something like that and had signs of an ice bucket, wet hand towels, washcloths... who said he "hit his head and went to bed" couldn't someone have hit him over the head and laid him in bed?"

The other problematic issue is the original findings from the Medical Examiner and Police Department was that "no trauma" was present when they transported the body. Of course, it's possible the injury was internal on his head, but you would think it was noticeable right away. If not, it's hard to imagine he hit his head hard enough to cause a brain bleed, but didn't try and treat the injury himself.

"This just sounds suspect," a fan simply stated. 

Interestingly, Saget's family appears to be taking the findings as fact and issued a statement about the cause of death.

"As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter," it read. 

The bottom line, many online feel the exact same way -- with one person putting it like this..."Not at all curious about how a healthy someone, not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, accidentally kills himself by randomly falling and hitting the back of his head? Don’t even think to acknowledge that it’s peculiar? The fact you leave it out makes it more suspicious."

At this point, it's unclear if authorities have completely closed the investigation -- especially since they have not nailed down where he might have injured his head.
