TMZ broke the news concerning Saget’s official cause of death. Apparently, someone with direct knowledge of the incident told TMZ that Saget had hit his head on something. Authorities are not sure what object he hit but believe it might have possibly been the headboard of his bed.
They report that officials found an “obvious bruise” on the back of his head.
At the time, Bob allegedly did not know the severity of his head injury and went to sleep. He never woke up. Sources report that he passed away from a brain bleed.
A toxicology report confirmed initial deductions by authorities that drug use was not a factor in his death. The toxicology report showed that there were no narcotics or alcohol in his system at the time of his death.
