Chelsea Handler Is ‘Deeply Saddened’ To Cancel Her ‘Spectacular’ Show
Before she filmed her Instagram Story in her hospital bed, fans were concerned that something serious had happened to the comedian after her shows for that night were canceled “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
On Friday, a message popped up from her Instagram account, saying, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the February 4th and February 5th 2022 shows on the Vaccinated and Horny Tour at Keller Auditorium and Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Portland, OR and Eugene, OR have been rescheduled for March 4th (Eugene) and March 5th (Portland). All tickets for the original performance will be honored, so patrons should hold onto their tickets.”
“For ticket inquiries, please contact point of purchase,” the message continued. “For tour information, please visit chelseahandler.com. Chelsea is deeply saddened to have to cancel at the last minute and looks forward to giving you a spectacular show in the near future.”
In the caption, they wrote, “Chelsea is deeply saddened to have to cancel tonight’s and tomorrow’s Portland and Eugene shows and looks forward to giving you a spectacular show in the near future.”

Chelsea Handler Apologizes To Fans: ‘I Had A Scare At The Hospital’
During the Instagram Story, Handler apologized to fans who were looking forward to her show and said that all of her comedy shows would be rescheduled as per the posted message.
“I am so sorry I had to cancel my shows tonight in Portland and my show in Eugene,” Handler said. “I had a scare at the hospital, and I don't have COVID, and I'm okay, but I had to reschedule my shows.”
“So, I just wanted to say that, and I will see you all when I see you, and I'm sorry that I had to cancel,” she continued. “But I'm all OK. And I'm not pregnant.”
In August, Handler told Extra that she wanted her tour to “bring people together,” which covered topics like “everything that happened during COVID” and “the ridiculousness of trying to date during COVID.”
“Vaccinated and Horny is a very apt way to describe my state of mind and a lot of people's states of mind in this current time that we're in right now,” she added.
Chelsea Handler Is Off The Market, Goes Official With Jo Koy
In September, Handler officially started dating Jo Koy. The pair met about twenty years ago after being introduced by a mutual friend. However, on her podcast, “Dear Chelsea,” Handler admitted that their relationship didn’t turn romantic until only recently.
In a lengthy Instagram post on November 14, 2021, Handler couldn’t help but share some sweet snaps of their relationship.
“Do you know how hot it is to have a man be turned on by my honesty, strength, and confidence?” she asked in the caption.
“Someone who loves the fact that I’m not going to take anyone’s s--- and isn’t intimidated or emasculated by my fierceness?” she asked. “Jo has renewed my faith in men.”
“For everyone who is still looking for their person, do not adjust who you are or make yourself smaller to find them,” she continued. “Be patient and never settle for anything less than you deserve.”
“Your person is coming and sometimes—they’ve been standing in front of you the whole time,” she concluded.
