The video that is 30 seconds long made the podcast host look like a complete jerk so much so that even he had to comment. "It looks f***ing horrible, even to me,” shared Rogan in a video he uploaded to social media.

“There's a video that's out, that's a compilation of me saying the n-word. It's a video that's made of clips taken out of context of me of 12 years of conversations on my podcast, and it's all smushed together.” It sounds like the former Fear Factor host was trying to play down the seriousness of the situation.

He notes that he hasn’t used the word in years and then tried to justify why he was using the word in the first place. “Now, I haven't said it in years, but for a long time, when I would bring that word up, like, if it would come up in conversation and instead of saying the n-word, I would just say the word -- I thought as long as it was in context, people would understand what I was doing.”

The shock podcast host has been under fire plenty of times for other comments made but the racial slur thing has been ongoing for him. He once likened a black neighborhood in Philadelphia as “Planet of the Apes”.

He went on to put his foot in his mouth by stating again that the clips are old some as old as 11 years old. As for that despicable movie reference, he played it off. "I was just saying there's a lot of black people there. But then I went on to talk about what a positive experience it was and how much fun it was to go to see this movie in a black neighborhood."

All that explain just for Rogan to admit that his actions past or present have been messed up. he called his use of the N-word as “the most regretful and shameful thing that I've ever had to talk about publicly.”

He even offered himself up to be used as a “teachable moment” for other people who think its okay walking around slinging racial slurs for likes and clicks. However, followers still had a bone to pick with Rogan because his caption on IG didn’t really reflect that of someone who is regretful.

“There’s been a lot of shit from the old episodes of the podcast that I wish I hadn’t said or had said differently. This is my take on the worst of it.” Of course, his fans were supportive sharing that they “know the real him” and letting it be known he “won’t be canceled”.

Unfortunately, for Rogan, this is just another nail in the coffin of poop hitting the fan for him lately. Spotify artist are dropping like flies in protest against Rogan’s podcast still being on the platform after years of despicable behavior.
