Singer Bobby Brown is celebrating his 53rd birthday today!

Born Robert Barisford Brown, the American singer, rapper, and actor has been considered one of the pioneers of new jack swing, a fusion of both hip hop and R&B style. He was born on February 5, 1969, in Roxbury, Boston, Massachusetts.

Bobby Brown was married to the late Whitney Houston from 1992 to 2007. He later remarried TV producer Alicia Etheredge in 2012. Brown is known for a plethora of popular hits, including “Every Little Step.”
