We are officially 34 days into 2022, and two months away from Little Mix’s European Tour.
This tour has been a long-time coming, because the ladies of Little Mix last toured together in 2019 for the “LM5: Tour.”
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and endless quarantines, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall have taken a step back from doing big arena shows.
But that will all change on April 9, 2022 when they kick off the “Confetti Tour” at the SSE Arena in Great Britain.
The Blast has been keeping Mixers updated on the trio’s every move. Perrie and Leigh-Anne welcomed babies in 2021 and Jade has been living her best life with her boyfriend in quarantine.
Leigh-Anne Signs Solo Recording Contract
Perrie welcomed a son, Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain, on August 21, while Leigh-Anne welcomed twins on the same date!
Prior to the new year, the lades if Little Mix announced they’d be taking a hiatus after their 2022 tour to focus on individual solo careers.
Back in December, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne confirmed their rumors surrounding their hiatus.

Leigh-Anne is one step closer to making the dream come into focus, because she just signed a major recording deal with Warner Records.
On February 2, the official Twitter account for Warner Records UK tweeted, “Delighted to welcome Leigh-Anne Pinnock to the Warner Records family!

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, February 3, the pop singer posted a photo of herself with the caption, “So excited for what’s to come.”
Leigh-Anne Celebrates Signing With Warner Records
Leigh-Anne lent her solo vocals to the “Boxing Day” soundtrack for which she also starred in.
Of her solo career, an insider told The Sun, “A number of labels were keen to bag Leigh-Anne but Warner seemed the best fit.”
The singer joins Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Madonna, who are all with Warner Records.
While the hiatus has been directly addressed by the trio, there’s still question if they will split up completely after the hiatus. There’s been rumblings Little Mix is headed for the same fate as the Spice Girls.
In September, “Pop Idol” creator Pete Waterman said the girls’ future as a trio is bleak.
Waterman believes Little Mix thinks they’re “bigger than they actually are.”
He also noted there will ‘always be friction’ between them.
His theory behind WHY LM is doomed to split, because the Spice Girls split up after Geri Halliwell, aka Ginger Spice, left the girl group.
“The girls themselves became more important than the records because the marketing machine takes over,” he told The Sun. “And if you're fighting for your place in that band, it becomes a battle of attrition for who's got the most publicity. And then one of them leaves, like Geri Halliwell did.”
Waterman went on to add, “It's the trap most of these types of bands fall into. The girls think they're bigger than the music they create and the band fails.”
One Record Producer Believes There Will Always Be Friction
An in the event you were thinking, ‘Well, he hasn’t mentioned the band by name,’ here’s the kicker.
"At the end of the day, there's always going to be friction and when it comes to the likes of Little Mix, you've got very strong characters all fighting,” he noted.
However, despite what THIS GUY thinks… all three women of Little Mix are tighter than ever.
During an interview on “Lorraine” Leigh-Anne told the show host, “It's just nice to do it [pregnancy] together [with Perrie] and just share this experience - it's just so beautiful and obviously Jade's been helping us out… She's been cracking the whip for us!”
Perrie added, “She [Jade] has been going first and finishing last just so we can get some more time at home.”
Jade is over the moon excited to be an ‘auntie’ again, but noted that she’ll be staying on a different floor during tour.
“I'm very excited to be an auntie again… Although I'll definitely be on a different floor of the hotel on tour,” she said.
Jade went on, “Can I just say, they're smashing it! We've been working so hard recently, I don't know how they've done it? They're goddesses.”
You show ‘em who’s boss ladies!
