Carter Reum Reveals The One Thing He Does NOT Like About Paris Hilton!

Carter Reum shares his pet peeve about Paris Hilton.
During an episode of "Paris In Love," which premiered on E! Tuesday, the hotel heiress, 40, asked her man about the one thing he would like to change about her.
A Normal Conversation
The couple was spotted walking along the beach with their fat bikes. Hilton wore a matching blue tracksuit with a white shirt underneath and an LA cap. Reum, 40, meanwhile, sported a plaid jacket and gray pants.
At first, the venture capitalist talked about how he needed the break from his busy work schedule.
"I needed this, a break from work. I've been working all weekend," he told Hilton, to which she responded, "You work too hard."
Reum disagreed by saying, "No, just hard enough," and shared something about their relationship, "In the early days of us dating, you say, 'oh my god you're too sexy. You're always on your laptop.' I was so scared that six or nine months later you were gonna get over it, but you always are telling me you're gonna find something sexy forever. Now, all these many months later, you still did. I appreciate it. You are so incredibly supportive. I love that about you."
Marrying An Heiress, Who's Also A Celebrity
He also noted while laughing, "But to be fair, you're always on your laptop working," adding, "People don't realize how hard you work."
During the confessional, Reum admitted, "marrying Paris Hilton is quite different than what I expected."
"I grew up in a little town of 1000 people called Wayne, Illinois, about an hour outside Chicago. I grew up super private. And so by design, I like to kind of stay out of the spotlight, and I tried to walk behind the red carpet. I think we have only taken one photo together eve on a red carpet," he continued telling the camera.
Paris Hilton Is Messy?
The chat led to a discussion that Reum was nervous to answer.
Hilton asks her then-fiancé, "If there was one thing about me that you could change, what would it be?"
He said, "Whoa, during the bike ride? I thought that we are just going to ride bikes."
"Well, there's one thing. You're a little less organized than I'd like," Reum shared, adding: "I just blame your creativity on that."
Hilton seemed to agree as she told him, "Life could be worse."
Reum echoed by saying, "It could be way worse."
Carter Reum Is Like Nicky Hilton?
He threw the question back at Hilton, where she told him there's "nothing" she likes to change about her beau.
"Okay, you pushed me to say what's the one thing, so I'm going to push you," he said.
"You're a little bossy," Hilton answered while smiling.
"You get mad at me when I'm late," she explained," adding, "reminds me of my sister."
"Yeah, your sister gives you the tough love. You need tough love in your life," Reum told Hilton.
The Little Arguments
The "Shortcut Your Startup: Speed Up Success with Unconventional Advice from the Trenches" author also revealed that they argue over the little things like "what to watch on TV."
"We argue about what to watch on TV every night, to be honest, and it might seem trivial, but she loves rom coms, which I do as well, but she likes the sad rom coms. The ones where the person's always dying, and I like the rom coms where the people are happy. They, you know, go off into the sunset," he said.
Hilton corrected Reum by saying, "I don't like it because they die. It's just that it ends up happening in so many movies nowadays."
Trading Privacy For Love
Being with a Hilton, especially with Paris, could mean a lot of sacrifices. For Reum, he traded his private life to be with her.
"Even though I just like to be a private person, and you know, a lot comes from marrying Paris Hilton," he said in the confessional. "At the end of the day, I just love Paris -- the person so much. And so for me, it's an easy trade because I get to spend the rest of my life with Paris."
Hilton and Reum dated two years before tying the knot in November 2021.
During an interview, the reality star revealed she knew Reum for years before they started their relationship.
"Carter and I have been friends for over 15 years," she told Vogue. "We stayed in each other’s lives over time, and we reconnected at a Thanksgiving get-together in 2019. From that night, I felt the spark, and the rest is history."
