Viewers of this week’s episode of the “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” may have thought that Paris Hilton had tried out a new style trend.
Hilton showed up with different shoes, but it turned out to be a wardrobe error and not a bold fashion statement.
The TV personality is not saddened by the incident and took it in good stride as she was seen poking fun at herself on social media.
Paris Hilton Jokes About Her Shoe Debacle “The Tonight Show”
While appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” to promote the finale of her Peacock Series, “Paris In Love,” Hilton made an unconscious fashion statement.
The reality star stepped onto the stage of the New York studio in a shimmering neon green sequin dress, but what caught the eye of viewers was her mismatched shoes.
What looked to be the same pair of Giuseppe Zanotti nude stilettos was, on closer look, one pair of a plain nude and another of a crystal-embellished heel.
Speculations arose that the socialite wore the shoes on purpose or started a fashion trend until Hilton showed neither was the case.
On Thursday, January 27, the “Cooking With Paris” star posted a video on her TikTok page poking fun at herself over the shoe incident.
In a side-by-side video, Hilton was seen sporting a classic pink velour tracksuit and matching shades while Kreepa’s “Oh No” played.
The other clip showed the star’s entrance on the nighttime show and zoomed in on her shoes while she planted a face into her palm, shaking her head at the memory.
Hilton’s fashion blunder was due to her excitement about the last episodes of “Paris In Love,” which follows her journey down the aisle with husband Carter Reum.
Peacock announced the 13-episode docuseries back in May 2021, according to TODAY. The series covers every step of Hilton’s wedding planning process.
Fans get to see how the DJ goes dress shopping and venue hunting, as well as what goes down in a high-profile bachelorette party.
These events lead to her big moment where she ties the knot with the venture capitalist at her grandfather’s stunning estate.

Earlier this month, the “This Is Paris” podcast host said on the “Daily Pop” show that she is excited to create life with her husband.
Hilton gushed. “I cannot wait. That is definitely one of my top priorities.” She previously stated on an episode of “The LadyGang” podcast:

Hilton also divulged that she would name her baby girl London, but she is still undecided about what name to give her son.
