Adele Allegedly Shacked Up With Boyfriend Rich Paul After Canceling Performances

Adele may want fans to take it easy on her after what was revealed in the news this week. PageSix.com reports the '30' singer is "holed up" with her sports agent boyfriend, Rich Paul, after an intense phone conversation between the two during her rehearsals that allegedly prompted the singer to cancel her Las Vegas residency.

Last week, the outlet shared the 33-year-old singer 'couldn't get through rehearsal' with a source telling the publication the 'Hello' artist was “shouting and sobbing” on the phone with Paul, whom she's been dating for the past six months.

The source shared there have been some "rumblings" that Adele's relationship has a few "stresses."

"I’m told that these stresses caused her to be in a place where she was just not confident moving forward,” he said. “You can’t focus if you’re not where you need to be in your head."

The source also detailed the sobbing experience, saying she "couldn't get through a single rehearsal for the past month."

“Adele’s been crying and couldn’t get through a single full rehearsal for the past month,” said the source who is linked to the management team at Caesars Palace, where the shows were supposed to take place. “Just constantly on the phone with Rich … loudly shouting and sobbing."

Whew, this isn't a good look at all.

After making the heartfelt announcement that she will be halting her shows as the show wasn't ready yet, it was reported she took a private jet to Los Angeles and went straight to Paul’s home after making her announcement.

It looks like she's been there ever since as it's been reported she's been with her beau at his Beverly Hills home.

Insiders are saying the couple is "trying to fix things," with the NBA manager assisting the musician to "renegotiate" her contract with the Vegas casino owners.

The tea is getting even juicier. According to the source who has been filling in the publication with all the behind-the-scenes action, it looks like their relationship was volatile even before her cancellation of the Vegas residency concert.

“She and Rich had been fighting, and their relationship was volatile before she canceled her dates," said the insider. “Adele is very emotional and dramatic. He’s an NBA guy who has to go on the road — they are very different — and they hit a rough patch.”

Definitely will hear about this one on her next album for sure.

A second source came forth to speak to PageSix.com, adding there was "chatter" about why Paul didn't show up to support Adele.

“There’s chatter about why Rich wasn’t in Las Vegas to support Adele — even the day before the show would have launched," said the second source. "Was he even going to be there for the debut? It’s another red flag pointing to relationship conflict as a factor in the cancellation. At first, we took her emotional calls [to Paul] to be about concerns with the show, but many of the conversations were actually fights.”

Oh, there's more from the source's mouth, who actually knows Adele personally.

“Adele didn’t show up in Vegas until almost the last minute — in production terms — we think partly because of her issues with Paul. And when she got there, Adele hated the production and the set, and didn’t have enough time to change it.”

There's been no word from Adele's team on any of the above. And rightfully so, the artist is very private with her personal life outside of the records she chooses to share.

However, the 'Chasing Pavements' musician just posted on her Instagram story with a message, revealing how she will be performing at the Brits this weekend and how her boyfriend "sends his love."

Looks like they worked things out? Only time will tell.

If you purchased a ticket, you will be compensated for the abrupt cancellation. It's being said that fans are being told that their tickets will be honored from the canceled dates as soon as Adele can negotiate her return to Vegas for the weekend dates.

It's being said the residency may not even happen, as other artists including Keith Urban, took her scheduled dates after she canceled.
