The former Miss USA had been working as a correspondent for “Extra” and was well-known for her bright and vibrant personality.

She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined. Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague – we know her impact will live on.”
Extra also released a statement, saying, “Our hearts are broken. Cheslie was not just a vital part of our show, she was a beloved part of our Extra family and touched the entire staff. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends.”

#CheslieKryst is such a tragic story because on the outside, she looks like she had everything anyone could want. We have got to stop looking at people through our own life scope and actually see them. 🕊

#CheslieKryst is Trending b/c she was attractive, relatively famous,& took her own life. But she’s emblematic of the despair a/r the country,& world-folks filling a void w/ drug use,& other spiritually depraved behavior.

The passing of #CheslieKryst just show that no matter how happy people look on the outside you never know how they feel on the inside. She was a lawyer, business owner, and so much more.. so with that being said check on your friends.

Cheslie Kryst’s death is a reminder that social media is not an accurate reflection of someone’s life. We see fun content, success, and forget that there is a person with real emotions that can be dealing with some really heavy stuff. I pray she has peace.#CheslieKryst pic.twitter.com/yT3t8LlFF9
