Kate Hudson added fuel to the rumor mill when she took to social media with a touching tribute to Tom Brady.

As speculations of the end of an era swirl around the football legend, many fans hope that is not the case.

The Golden Globe Award winner looked back on the National Football League star's impeccable legacy and praised him as the greatest of all time.

Hours ago, Hudson posted a heartfelt tribute to Brady on her Instagram page as an increasing amount of reports assume he will retire after 7 Super Bowl wins and 22 NFL seasons.

The "Truth Be Told" actress uploaded a photo of the 44-year-old on the pitch and expressed that she considers him the best in the game. She gushed:

"No matter what team you love, no matter what side of the divisions you root for, we have all been blessed to watch the Greatest Of All Time show up every game ready to play."

The celebrity fangirl admitted that she loves football without any physical connection to the sport and that Brady has had a phenomenal career. She added:

"Your dedication, follow through, focus, and generosity translates and is truly inspirational. Happy retirement buddy and you will be missed! @tombrady."

Hudson's comment about the retirement sent internet users into a frenzy, and they took to her post with reactions. Later on, she retracted her congratulations when Brady addressed the rumor.

The "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" actress added an update, writing, "EDIT EDIT…. Hold up…. See you next season….?"

The Blast disclosed a statement from Brady's spokesperson who clarified that, unlike as insinuated by outlets, Brady is yet to confirm his retirement.

A notable website announced that the quarterback would be hanging his sports cape, leading fans and ex-teammates, including Julian Elderman, to believe it. Brady's agent, Don Yee, clarified:

“I understand the advance speculation about Tom’s future. Without getting into the accuracy or inaccuracy of what’s being reported, Tom will be the only person to express his plans with complete accuracy."

Yee buttressed that his client understands the realities of the football business and planning his calendar more than anyone, and he will make an announcement soon.

Brady also reportedly rang up the General Manager of the Buccaneers, Jason Licht, to clarify that he has not decided to retire yet.

After years of historic achievements on the field, Brady admitted he is looking forward to retiring in the future for more time with his family.

The Blast revealed last November that the father-of-three mentioned his desire to Oprah Winfrey while on his, “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray" 'podcast.

Brady lamented that his hectic training schedule meant he barely had time to enjoy Thanksgiving or Christmas with his wife Gisele Bündchen and their three children. 

The quarterback admitted, “I’m looking forward to the time when I’m done playing football so that I can have some of those more normal holidays that I had growing up."

On his YouTube miniseries, “Tommy and Gronky" Brady stated he wants to retire at age 50, but his co-star Rob Gronkowski asked if Bündchen would be okay with it.

Brady laughed and said he was just kidding. He then apologized to his wife, saying, "I love you. You would let me. You would let me do anything as long as I’m happy.”

Brady is thankful to have his spouse of over a decade by his side and showed as much during Thanksgiving.

The Blast shared that Bündchen celebrated the holiday on Instagram with a flawless photo of herself in a two-piece swimsuit covered by a white dress with long sleeves.

The supermodel wrote that the key ingredient to happiness is gratitude, adding, “Gratitude awakens our best selves, transforms our energy, and makes life lighter, happier! 

"The Devil Wears Prada" actress buttressed that by cultivating a habit of gratitude, we recognize the blessing of being alive.

Brady saw this post and expressed his thankfulness to his wife in a touching display of love. He gushed,“❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am grateful for you 😍😍😍."
