The "Harvey and Me" Author Debunks Rumors Around Financé Carl Woods

Since Price's engagement to Woods, several slanderous accusations have spread about their relationship. A tabloid also published that her family disapproves of the union.

The Blast revealed in December that the mother-of-five debunked these claims on her Instagram Stories and called out the outlet for spreading false truths.

The publication alleged that Price and her family were at loggerheads over her engagement, as proven by her response to Wood's Instagram post.

In the post, Price's fiance expressed that social media negatively influences relationships and creates “jealousy and envy over non-existent things.”

The tabloid posited that the TV personality's reply—that people have tried to intervene with them, but this only made them stronger—hinted at her family's disapproval.

The “What Katie Did Next” star uploaded a screenshot of the news article and clarified that her family in no way disapproves of her romance with her fiance.

Price also noted that there has never been any hint about a problem with her relationship. She then accused the outlet of “bad journalism.”
