2022 César Awards Nominations – Full List!

The nominations for the 2022 César Awards have finally been revealed.

The César Awards have been considered France’s version of the Oscar and are one of the most renowned international awards out there!

“Lost Illusions,” directed by Xavier Giannoli, is currently leading in nominations with 15 nods. The musical “Annette,” directed by LeosCarax and starring “Star Wars” alum Adam Driver comes in second place with 11 nominations.

The musical drama-comedy that was inspired by the real-life of singer Céline Dion, “Aline,” comes in third with 10 nominations.

It was previously announced that “Don’t Look Up” and “Mrs. America” actress Cate Blanchett will receive an honorary César Award.

Although the annual press conference announcing the nominations usually takes place at the Fouquet’s on the Champs-Elysées, it was not held this year. Director Danièle Thompson will be hosting this year’s ceremony, which will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022.
