Madonna Celebrates Daughter Mercy James' Sweet 16 At Magic Mountain

Madonna marked her daughter Mercy James' 16th birthday in grand style!

The iconic singer recently took to Instagram with a candid video showcasing how the family celebrated Mercy's big day.

The mother-of-six alongside her son David Banda, boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, and the birthday girl enjoyed a fun day at Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park in California.

The "Material Girl" singer spared no expense when it came to her daughter's special day as the family had a wonderful time screaming their hearts out on thrilling rollercoasters.

Madonna looked gorgeous in a black sweatsuit designed with colorful patterns and words, while her blonde hair was styled into two braided locks for the big event. 

This classic look was completed with a blue and white striped knitted cap, large white sunglasses, several gold bracelets, and leather gloves.

Mercy didn't lose to her famous mother in the fashion department as the birthday girl sported a casual look consisting of a black shirt designed with Tupac Shakur and the words "Wake Me."

The 16-year-old paired this unique short-sleeved outfit with baggy jeans, an orange beanie, and several colorful beaded bracelets and necklaces. 

In the video, which began with the icon's hit track "4 Minutes," the stylish mother and daughter were seen talking about what this new age meant to Mercy.

The birthday girl announced that she felt various emotions, including "renewed, goofy and quirky." Following this sweet moment, the family jumped on one of the park's famous rollercoasters.

However, the ridiculously tall ride proved to be a dire experience for the Queen of Pop, who could be heard screaming, "I can't take this anymore! I paid to be abused."

There were more hilarious moments of the singer crying as they tackled more exciting rides before the group was seen laughing at the photo taken during their log ride. 

This heartwarming video was captioned with several emojis, including a rollercoaster, blue heart, party, and laughing emoticons alongside the words:

"Magic Mountain with Mercy James for her B day! #sweet16 #insanity"

This fun outing came after the surprise party the doting mother threw for her daughter on Saturday, January 22, which the 63-year-old also shared on Instagram.

Mercy walked into her room and screamed once she discovered it was decorated with lights and balloons in the clip.

The birthday girl was pleasantly attacked with hugs and kisses from her younger sisters, twins Stella and Estere.

This wonderful video ended with a photo montage of Mercy over the years, followed by the heartwarming caption the "Swept Away" actress penned for her daughter. The mother-of-six wrote:

"Happy Birthday Chifundo Mercy James!! The Kindest, Most thoughtful, most Magical Girl on the Planet!!!!!!!! There is no one like you! #sweet16"

Last year, The Blast reported that Madonna's Thanksgiving was a family affair, which the Golden Globe winner proudly showcased on Instagram.

In the video, the "La Isla Bonita" singer was seen in the company of five of her beautiful children — son David and daughters Lourdes, Mercy, Estere, and Stella.

The matriarch wore a stunning black dress paired with boots and silver necklaces while her daughters flaunted their stylish side in chic gowns and matching black boots.

The happy family celebrated Thanksgiving by decorating cookies, riding scooters, and dancing. Madonna also joined in on the fun as she was captured dancing in the kitchen while David played the guitar.

The holiday seasons remained family-oriented for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alum as The Blast previously shared that the 63-year-old spent Christmas with her children.

Last December, the Queen of Pop marked the festive period with Williams, her boyfriend, and her kids dressing up as Santa little helpers. 

In addition to their adorable Elf costumes, the family also decorated a Christmas tree. However, according to the "Vogue" singer's caption, they poured too much snow. 

The Grammy winner also used this medium to remind fans of the importance of being open-minded and kind to others, especially in religion.

The blonde beauty implored her followers to embrace "all faith and rituals" that made them happy and prioritize giving over receiving.
