Kristen Schaal Thanks Fans For The Birthday Wishes… And Gives One A Virtual Hug!

Just after noon on Monday, Kristen tweeted, “Thank you for the birthday wishes! Happy to be alive. The older I get the more I fall in love with you sweet humans. Xoxo.”

Although her post got over 1,000 likes within the first hour of posting, there were some who weren’t all that taken with Kristen’s positive message.

“Really?” one person asked. “Because the older I get the more disgusted and removed I feel towards humanity as a whole; pretty much at my breaking point at any given time now. I'm oft bewildered that anyone in this world can be successful, let alone at the way successful people can still have hope.”

“I don’t know,” Kristen replied. “I guess the more I have good and bad feelings the more I understand where they are coming from in me. And I can sort of understand where it might be coming from in others. And I believe that the majority of humanity are working from a place of love.”

“I have to disagree,” the original commenter replied. “From my own community, at least, people seem to be driven by xenophobia, willful ignorance, and selfishness. Even in my own family. I'm just so over this world right now.”

“Maybe take a walk in nature if you can,” Kristen offered. “It’s a good reset button. Sending you a virtual hug!”

It’s amazing to see Kristen taking the moment to comfort a fan… even on her birthday!
