The trailer for the “Bob’s Burgers” comedy film is finally here!

Directed by Loren Bouchard, the animated film has a release date of May 27, 2022. Even though it’s still several months away, the animated film began trending on Wednesday morning, most likely in response to the new trailer.

A synopsis of the film only reads “The further adventures of hamburger restaurateur Bob Belcher and his quirky family,” which means that fans only have a 90-second trailer to tell them what the movie is really about.

‘Bob’s Burgers’ Movie Trailer Brings The Laughs Early!

The trailer opens with a sultry burger commercial, showing pictures of burgers being flipped while flames shoot up in the background.

“Are you hungry for something good?” the commercial announcer asks in a deep voice. “Something juicy? How you doing? Something beefy?”

The commercial then cuts to Linda jumping out of an alley in a burger costume, with a red and white polka dot bikini strapped over the top. Linda begins promoting “Fresh hot burgers, sexy burgers,” at a burger stand outside of the Wonder Wharf, which is celebrating “The Octa-Wharfiversary. 80 years of this!” Beneath it is a banner that reads “Free popcorn! Half-price rides!”

The film cuts to the three Belcher children sitting inside a restaurant, with Tina saying, “Big things are coming for summer Tina.”

It then cuts to a shot of Tina riding across a desert landscape on a horse beside Jimmy Junior. She yells back at Jimmy to “Take off those bulky jeans. To be more aerodynamic.” As his pants start to fall off, she says, “Oh, you’re doing it already. Great.”

The scene then cuts to Gene asking Tina, “Big things like that heat rash you get sometimes?”

“Bigger,” Tina replies.

In another scene, Louise is leading Gene and Tina through a trailer park. “Stay low. Follow my lead,” she warns them.

After several shots of people gasping, the scene cuts to Louise standing outside a giant sinkhole in the ground. The Belcher children are all gathered around the hole in their pajamas. Louise has a rope with her, and it appears that she’s going to start investigating.

“How about… whaaat?” Gene asks.

“Just the gasp is great, thank you,” Louise replies.

“Like this?” Gene asks, before he bellows, “Hoaahh!”

“I think we got it,” Tina says as she lowers a camcorder. “The last one was good.”

After shots of a rock concert, a giant robot, and a UFO, along with yellow creatures that might be aliens, it seems that no one knows quite what to expect from the film. The last slide of the trailer informs audiences that the 20th Century Studios production will only be available in theaters.

“Basically an hour and a half long episode of the show,” wrote another fan. “As every episode should be.”

“Not gonna lie, a Bob's Burgers movie is what we all need in these dark times,” another joked.

“I've always like watching Bob's Burgers so it feels amazing that it's getting a movie,” said another.

“This brings me so much joy. This is a perfect trailer,” wrote another fan. “It’s much more subtle that one would expect, in terms of previewing plot devices or providing something of a synopsis. It’s also kind of over-the-top in the best way possible. The burger in the beginning looks incredible, and while an obvious reference to the opening sequence, I will say…the opening sequence’s burger doesn’t have onions. (; Cannot wait for this movie. The (long-delayed) wait is finally almost over! Alriiiiight!”

The “Bob’s Burgers Movie” will be available only in theaters on of May 27, 2022.
