Alex Rodriguez Insists He's 'Single,' Despite Being Seen With Mystery Woman!

Alex Rodriguez, better known as “ARod,” and formerly known as Jennifer Lopez’s fiancé is living the single life.

Last year the MLB player and the singer broke off their years-long engagement after it was rumored that ARod was being shady behind JLo’s back.

The former couple announced their breakup in a statement to “TODAY,” and said they were “better off as friends.”

Their statement read, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

That statement was issued back in April not long after the split.

Since their split, JLo has famously moved on with her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck and ARod is back to being a bachelor.

However, the former baseball player has recently been spotted on multiple occasions taking in sports games with a mystery blonde.

According to Page Six, that mystery woman is Dallas-based fitness competitor Kathryne “Kat” Padgett.

The two attended two major sporting events together, but sources close to the athlete say he is still very much single.

“A-Rod is single and enjoying life,” an insider told the outlet.

They made it a point to note, “It’s not like she’s his girlfriend. They went to Green Bay and then to Minnesota. She’s not his girlfriend. He is a single dude.”

ARod and Kat were spotted bearing the elements of the cold rather than hanging in the swanky, heated box seats.

A second source told Page Six that they decided to hangout in the cold because, “he wanted to experience Lambeua Field in the stands. He signed autographs and took pictures the entire game.”

The unofficial couple wore matching Green Bay Packer hats and heavy coats.

On Sunday, January 23, ARod and Kat took in another sporting event, this time traveling to Minneapolis to attend the Timberwolves game together.

Kat posted photos of herself at the game on her Instagram Story, but ARod was nowhere in sight.

Funny enough, the retired MLB player posted photos of himself at the game but omitted showing Kat.

He posted a picture of himself with “corporate flight attendant” Camy Hon. He also made snow angels outside of his private jet, but once again, chose NOT to post Kat in any of the photos.

This isn’t the first time ARod has been pictured with beautiful, fit women.

Not long after his split from JLo, he was spotted on a yacht while vacationing in St. Tropez alongside several bikini-clad women.

Despite splitting from the singer, the two pledged to continue working together on their business endeavors, but JLo quickly changed her tune.

“Jennifer is done dealing with Alex,” the insider told Us Weekly last year. “She’s washing her hands of him romantically and also as a business partner. Her management team and her lawyers will be talking to his [team] to tie up any loose ends.”

According to PageSix, the former couple are investors in the self-care company “Hims & Hers” and also collaborated with the fitness app Fitplan to offer fitness coaching.

The source continued to explain to Us Weekly, “She will have to sell her side of the company or buy him out. She doesn’t care about how it goes down, just that she is free of the ties to him. She knows it’s [only] fair to Ben.”

Ben and Jennifer, aka “Bennifer,” rekindled their romance not long after her split from ARod.

From the outside it appeared the former fiancés picked up where they left off and have been inseparable ever since.

They have taken countless romantic getaways and were even spotted house hunting in Los Angeles.

It’s also worth mentioning that JLo wiped all traces of her ex from her social media accounts!
