Siwa first shot to fame in "Dance Moms" before merchandizing happened. Soon, people knew her for her fashion and accessories as well as her music, aimed at the younger gen. She became the youngest contestant on Fox's “The Masked Singer.” She also became the first person to appear with a same-sex partner in "Dancing With the Stars", something she received a ton of support for.

In an earlier interview, Siwa had mentioned that she made the mistake of Googling about herself after she came out, and was taken aback by the negative comments. While many supported her, some felt she was too young to come out and was making a bad impression on children.

Today, she's okay with all that as she said, "My thing is, I don't want people to watch my videos or buy my merchandise if they aren't going to support not only me but the LGBTQ community."

Meanwhile, her mom is her biggest champion, as she wrote on Siwa's Instagram, "Love you so much ❤️and so proud of everything you do, the big things and the little things ❤️."
