Betty White’s team just released a heartbreaking video of the star addressing her fans, filmed just 11 days before her death.
The emotional message was uploaded onto White’s official Facebook page, filmed in anticipation of the legendary actress’s 100th birthday. As you know, Betty passed away at the age of 99, just weeks shy of the milestone birthday.
“I just want to thank you all for your love and support over the years,” Betty begins. In the footage, you can hear the ‘Golden Girls’ star has a bit of a raspy voice — but, overall looks great for 99 years old!

Betty’s next message was a bit eerie, considering what happened a few days later — saying, “Thank you so much, and stick around!”
White’s team included a message alongside the video, saying, “Good morning! As we continue to see numbers coming in from all over the world — it’s just absolutely amazing how much money all of you raised for the animals through #thebettywhitechallenge.”
They continued, “She could never have imagined such an outpouring of love and would have been so grateful to everyone. When we recorded her special message to fans who attended the movie, we also recorded one that we had planned to put on social media on her birthday. She was using the occasion of her 100th birthday to celebrate YOU – her fans. She knew how lucky she was; she felt the love, and she never took it for granted. I think it’s appropriate to post today as a thank you from Betty and the animals.”

‘Golden Girls’ Fans Are Pumped Someone Is Still Running Betty’s Social Media
As you can imagine, fans are pouring into the Facebook page to comment on the heartbreaking video. Plus, many are thanking her team for continuing the actress’s legacy by taking over the social media accounts.
“Thank you for posting these and taking over her account. It means a lot to so many of us. It warms my heart to see how many people pulled together for her and animals all over the country on her birthday. I’m sure the total was millions raised across the country. Even during hard times like we’re going through, people came together for this and it’s so nice to see,” one person wrote.
Another added, “What a precious video. You are definitely keeping her memory alive with all these terrific memories of Betty. It still doesn’t feel like she’s gone, but kudos to you – you are doing such a wonderful job of keeping up with things.”

As we reported, Betty White suffered a stroke just six before her death which causes a loss of blood flow to the break, and can cause “lasting brain damage, long-term disability, or even death.”
In the weeks leading up to her death, White opened up about making it to the milestone birthday and says it’s all about being positive. “I’m so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age, It’s amazing,” she said. Adding, she was “born a cockeyed optimist,” and the key to her upbeat approach to life “I got it from my mom, and that never changed, I always find the positive.”
