Kanye West On Buying House By Kim: 'My Solace Comes From Seeing My Kids'

Kanye West is revealing exactly why he bought a house directly across the street from Kim Kardashian.
The rapper, who now goes by ‘Ye,’ stopped by “Hollywood Unlocked” this week to chat about his recent real estate purchase.
While sitting down with Jason Lee, Ye said he purchased the “bachelor pad” across the street from his former mega-mansion in order to be as close as possible to his kids.

"My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule. That's why I even got the house," Ye explained to Lee.
He then explained how the narrative was flipped to make it seem like there was something wrong with him.
"It was flipped into there was something wrong with me getting a house next to my kids,” he said before reflecting on his own upbringing without a father.
Ye told Lee that when his mom decided to move them from Atlanta, CA. to Chicago, IL. his father didn’t move. His father stayed in Atlanta and Ye grew up with out him.
"You see when my mom took me from Atlanta to Chicago, my dad didn't come to the coldest and most dangerous city in the world to be next to me," Ye said. "He said, 'I'm going to stay down in Atlanta cause of my career.'"
For Ye, it’s a completely different story.
A stern Ye said, “There’s nothing with my career, with this rap, with this media, with none of that that’s going to keep me from my children. And that’s what I want everyone to know.”
Nothing Will Keep Him From His Kids, NOTHING!
He continued with a warning, “Don’t play with me. Don’t play with my children. And ain’t no security that will get between me and my children, and you ain’t gunna gaslight me. You ain’t gunna run this narrative on me.”
The Blast reported in December that the rap superstar had purchased a modest four-bedroom, two and a half bathroom, single-story ranch style home.
He dropped $4.5 million on the “Bach pad,” and was instantly met with criticism.
He was called a stalker on social media and compared to O.J. Simpson.
“Kanye West is a real stalker lol 😂 Buying a house across the street from Kim Kardashian 😆🤦🏼♂️,” one person tweeted.
“Wow. Can we say obsessed with her much.......” another person said shading the rapper.
This person compared Kanye’s latest move to the O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson relationship and ultimate murder trial.
“Kim Kardashian gonna be the next Nicole Brown Simpson if Kanye keeps up with his disturbing behavior,” they tweeted.
As you may recall, Kim’s late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., was a good friend and representative of O.J. during the murder trial. It was a trial that divided the Kardashian and Jenner families.
“The phrasing of news reports covering Kanye West relentlessly and publicly harassing Kim Kardashian needs to change. He does not want to reunite his family, he’s a man who’s refusing to take no for an answer,” this worried fan tweeted.
According to a report from People, the rapper bought the house in a move to stay as close as possible to his children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

A source told the outlet, "Kanye's new house is a teardown. He only bought it for the location. It's near Kim and the kids. He has a vision for the house and plans on starting construction ASAP. It will be family-friendly. He wants to be able to have the kids over as much as possible. Living only in Malibu was making visits trickier for Kanye."
This interview comes hot off the heels of Ye’s recent assault allegations. Earlier this week, the Yeezy designer was accused of punching a fan in the face and head after they asked for an autograph.
The one-sided brawl came after a wild night out in West Hollywood with his new girlfriend, Julia Fox. He ended the evening in downtown Los Angeles where the alleged assault took place.
He responded to the allegations with a very disturbing Instagram photo on Friday, January 14.
