Actress Olivia Culpo might have some bad blood with American Airlines!

Apparently, Culpo was excited to spend time with her family in Cabo San Lucas. According to her sister, Aurora, who recorded the footage on her Instagram stories, her sister was called to the front gate before boarding the plane.

Allegedly, an agent at the front gate told Olivia that she would have to put on a blouse or else she wouldn’t be allowed to board the plane! Aurora described the move as “f---ed up.”

In the clip, Olivia can be seen wearing a long black cardigan, a black sports bra, and high-waisted biker shorts. Her sister said that Olivia was not dressed in a way that anyone would find “inappropriate” or “offensive” – especially when her sister is well known as a Sports Illustrated cover girl.

Although Olivia didn’t want to make a scene and quickly donned her boyfriend's grey hoodie, her sister was quick to point out another woman who was not asked to cover up, even though her outfit could be considered more revealing than Olivia’s. Aurora went straight to the woman to explain Olivia's situation.

“That’s weird,” the woman said in the clip as she shows off her outfit for the camera. She is wearing a low-cut blue sports bra, a blue long-sleeved cardigan, and matching leggings.

Olivia re-posted the clip to her own Instagram account while writing, “Leave it to Aurora to cause a scene. Hide me.”

Olivia’s boyfriend, NFL player Christian McCaffrey of the Carolina Panthers, also joined the family on their trip to Cabo. They also vacationed together in Cabo in February of last year.

Aurora posted a photo of him sitting on the plane with his arms tucked inside his white tee-shirt for warmth and captioned the snap: “When you freeze bc ur lady dress [inappropriate] AF. Exactly how Jack from the Titanic died.”

Fans Take To Social Media: ‘Why Would They Do That To Her?’

Fans weren’t too happy with American Airlines for policing Olivia’s outfit and took to social media to express their dismay.

“I’ve seen girls in bikinis on flights multiple times, especially to and from Mexico,” one fan commented. “This seems way over the top.”

“Omg I’m in tears,” another fan wrote. “Why would they do that to her?”

“Airline policy, not new,” another fan wrote. “Weird that supposedly another woman got away with it. At least Culpo doesn’t seem to be making a huge deal about it.”

However, not everyone had Olivia’s back. Some people supported the airline and thought that they were in the right for asking Olivia to cover up.

“Do people want passengers wearing bikinis on flights?” one user asked. That’s what she was wearing.”

“I’ve never seen anyone in a bikini on a plane and hope I never do,” another wrote. “Good job, Airlines!”

“Well good,” another user wrote alongside several laughing-face emojis. “You’re not on the beach.”

“Being scantily clad on a plane really only says you have money to burn on bag fees,” another commented. “I would let her borrow her choice of the sweater, hoodie, or ski jacket I'm layered up in to save room in my only suitcase... a carry-on bag.”

“She's not dressed,” another wrote. She's wearing a bra and shapewear underwear which is normally worn on top of panties but still under your clothes unseen.”

“The point is wear polite clothes in a public,” wrote another. “Not showing the body in a front of the society.”

“She was literally just wearing underwear,” said another.

“Do people know how to dress anymore?” another asked.

American Airlines has yet to comment.
