Young Dolph's killers have been brought in by the U.S Marshals after a manhunt. One of the suspected killers who was declared wanted by the authorities last week has been taken into custody.

Young Dolph's Killers Arrested

According to Fox 13 Memphis, the suspected gunmen Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith were arrested separately on Tuesday.

Justin, who was initially declared wanted by authorities, was apprehended in Terre Haute, Indiana, along a highway between Indianapolis and Louisville.

He has since been charged with first-degree murder alongside other charges and is currently in custody. The other suspect, Smith, who was unnamed until is arrest was captured by authorities of DeSoto County before being extradited to Memphis. Smith is also first-degree murder charges.

Per sources who spoke to the publication, 32-year-old Smith was identified as the gunman in the surveillance still who wore the Bass Pro hat. It's uncertain when the case would go to trial but this is undoubtedly the first step to finding justice for Dolph.

One Suspect Was Wanted, $15,000 Reward

Last week, Johnson's name was announced by the U.S. Marshals for being involved in Dolph's killing. As The Blast covered, the 23-year-old whose stage name is Straight Drop was declared wanted and on the run from law enforcement.

In a press release by the authorities, Johnson was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted list and declared as having connections to organized crimes and gangs.

A $15,000 reward was announced for anyone who had information about his whereabouts. Following the U.S. Marshals' release, Johnson came out on social media declaring his innocence and promising to turn himself in, but that was clearly not the case.

Instead, it was reported that on the day of his arrest, Johnson released a new music video for his single titled "Track Hawk" where he spoke suggestive lyrics about wearing a mask and 50 gunshots in 20 seconds. Also, Johnson allegedly shot a video in the house where cops retrieved the getaway Mercedes Benz vehicle associated with the shooting.

Young Dolph Laid To Rest

The influential Memphis rapper was tragically gunned down on November 17 at Makeda’s Homemade Cookies while making a purchase. Young Dolph was soon declared dead and the music industry was thrown into mourning.

Two weeks after his devastating demise, Young Dolph was laid to rest in his hometown of Memphis. His body was escorted by a police lineup to the First Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where his life was celebrated.
