'Full House' Star Bob Saget Reportedly Might Have Died From Natural Causes

Comedian Bob Sagetmight have died from natural causes after authorities' initial investigation is leaning towards a heart attack or stroke.

As we reported, the 'Full House'star was found in an Orlando, Florida hotel room lying on his back, with one arm over his chest and the other at his side. Investigators are considering that his body position along with other details from the scene leads them to believe he had a "sudden medical emergency" and died from either a heart attack or a stroke.

According to the police report, there were NO signs of foul play, and NO signs of drug use or alcohol abuse in the hotel room, and nothing appears to point towards any type of struggle. Responding officers say Saget was in his bed, and all his bags were packed and sitting by the door prepared to leave that day.

Interestingly, investigators are reportedly considering Bob's admission to having suffered a bout with COVID-19 as a part of the death investigation. As you know, developing blood clots from the virus is a common complication. The 'Full House' star appeared on a recent podcast revealing he was suffering from Coronavirus and it was a rough few days. During the interview, Bob confirmed he contracted the virus, but wasn't clear on exactly when he was sick. The comedian described the virus as "not good" while cracking jokes about which variant he might have contracted.

Shockingly, Saget joked about possibly dying from the virus. Fans of the comedian noticed he sounded ill on the phone call, which the hosts noted after the interview ended. It's unclear if Bob was still suffering since the interview was taped right after the New Year.

As we reported, an autopsy was performed on the comedian, and toxicology reports are being completed. Unfortunately, if it is not an obvious cause of death, reports can take up to several months to complete. In other words, even if it's clear he died from a heart attack or stroke, investigators will need to determine if there were any other contributing factors to his death.

It should be noted, Bob finished a two-hour comedy set on the night before his death, arriving back to his hotel room at 2:17 am. Also, he arranged for a late check-out -- considering he got back so late -- and was supposed to leave the hotel at 3 pm. The report states an hour after the check-out time, housekeepers entered the room and found Saget unresponsive. After consulting with their "legal team," management informed Saget's wife of the death.
